   Great food!! The waiter came to our table too much, after every bite he asked how everything was 👎🏻. Other than that everything was perfect !!

   We went for Christmas dinner and it was wonderful. We think this may become a regular family tradition.

   Have eaten at numerous Italian restaurants in San Antonio and this one is very expensive in comparison. While the food was delicious, the portions were small. The waiter was clearly gassed from working on Christmas Day and we had to repeat our order several times. Food did come quickly so service was fast. But all in all, much prefer Italian food/value at Capperelli’s on Main, Bourbon Street, Milano’s, etc. Won’t be back.

   Very uneven service. Busy but not prepared for a large clientele. Too many people waiting on the same table. Got an erroneous bill. Should be much better prepared for a large number.

   We chose to dine here based on reviews on Open Table. Pros: our server Alex was outstanding Spaghetti was perfectly done Cons : Appetizer Fried Ravioli had very little cheese stuffed- virtually hollow Pizza crust was mediocre & overall too salty. Meatball was inedible Clam dish was way too salty & inedible. Ambience was not nice - dingy. Minestrone soup broth was good but the vegetables in it were not properly cooked. I don’t like leaving a negative review but managers need to know. Thanks again to Alex for his outstanding service.

We noticed some modifications were made to your ticket, and just a heads up—the marinara sauce we make from scratch has anchovies in it, which might explain the salty flavor you experienced. We really recommend trying our dishes as they come, but if you want to explore different sauces, we can put them on the side for you to taste first!    Jerry was our server/bartender and he was amazing. He helped me customize a special drink since I can’t have vodka. He was also so attentive always asking if we needed anything.

   Dinner at Scuzzi’s Thanksgiving day was a wonderful experience. The staff was so attentive. Not just our personal waiter Jaylen, but ALL of the staff came by to be sure our dining experience lacked nothing. The food was excellent. Perfectly seasoned tender steak and all the delicious sides. Salads and Deserts were delicious, too. Drinks from the bar were perfect, especially the Tawny Port wines after dinner. Don’t hesitate to visit Scuzzi’s for lunch or dinner. You won’t be disappointed. Owner Mazi will be sure everything is perfect!

    We started going to Scuzzi a few years ago to spend the holidays differently. We are never disappointed from the time you enter the door until the time you leave your taken care of right away. The staff is always great and attentive. The food is wonderful even on the holidays with a scaled down menu. Great service is the reason I continue to return. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
