   We went for brunch this Sunday, and had the benedictines with lobster and the crab melt. The lobster was very dry, the sauce was weird tasting, it was overall not great. The crab in the melt was tasting like it has been in the freezer for too long. The cheese was bland and didn’t add to the dish. I was disappointed because I have been going to this restaurant dozens of times for more then 45 years every time I visit Lauderdale by the sea, and have always enjoyed it very much. The setting is still gorgeous, the service very nice , but the food, specially for the price, was not up to their usual standards in the past years. I suggest staying with the regular lunch and dinner menu. We will try again one last time this week, but not a nice experience at all today. Sorry!

   We had a fantastic visit to Sea Watch last weekend and we were excited to bring friends there for a special dinner last night. It was awful. We waited over an hour after finishing apps to get our food, while diners around us were seated, received food, got their checks and left. in the time, our server did not come to the table at all. In fact, when we tried to get his attention, he quickly ran the other way. Do we sat without drinks or food. Once we received our food 3 of the four entrees were not edible. We appreciate the manager removing the inedible entrees and some drinks from the bill, but I doubt we will be back.

   We come to Sea Watch every time we’re in town (6+ times a year) and I have to say unfortunately last night was the worst experience we have ever had… they had a wedding last night and their kitchen couldn’t keep up with the demand. Here is the rundown of the night. We were sat on the upstairs balcony and the manager thanked us for being so accommodating since it was pretty windy. We then waited 20 minutes only to have the waitress speak to another table right away who sat down 15+ minutes after us. The manager came back and apologized but our waitress just made excuses… she told the table next to us the bread was no longer served warm upstairs and you had to ask for it etc. The food was good but not up to the usual standard of Sea Watch… very disappointed in last night but we will back because we love Sea Watch that much! I just felt the need to leave an honest review because if last night had been our first experience we would not be back.

   I had the lobster tails which were excellent. Two others in our party had the swordfish which was also excellent. The key lime pie and chocolate trifle were perfect. Sea Watch seems to always prepare great meals.

   I enjoy this restaurant. The dining, service and view is excellent. I am always happy to meet friends at this restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive!

   Great views and service! Chef agreed to cook my favorite fish (swordfish) at lunch, despite the fact that it’s only on the dinner menu. I appreciated the courtesy and loved the perfectly broiled fish.

    We celebrated my friend’s birthday and she had one of her best meals! It was worth every penny!! Carlos was a great waiter!!
