   Great location and fantastic play area for the kids, however out of all three meals ordered by my family only the chips were edible (fish/burgers) were awful. Would come again but only for a drink and some chips.

   The food was average, oysters overpriced . Did not get our allocated seat on the day even though we arrived on time our table was given away and we had to sit inside , couldn’t hear or see the bands. Overall disappointing experience.

   We understand it was a busy Sunday, but our chicken wings were lukewarm (returned & redone) ordered sweet potato wedges, got sweet potato fries, chicken & bacon pizza lukewarm and too much ranch sauce swirled on top, overpowered the toppings, could hsve been cooked a little longer. The table was outside undercover in a good spot with sea views.

   On arrival had to ask for our table to be cleaned. (booking made prior). Table had visible oily grub marks all over it, was sticky, and hasn't been cleaned for some time. Mould, excess dust, and muck visible on all chairs and the table. No attempt was made after sitting there for 15mins from arrival, so eventually found someone else who worked there, which in itself was a mussion as they were all very few and far between, and firmly asked if they could do it. Staff were incredibly rude and abrupt. Not a very friendly, welcoming or enjoyable place to spend time at.. On top of that, the food was pretty average to say the least. Would not recommend 😕

   We usually enjoy eating out at Seabreeze, but unfortunately our experience this time was overshadowed by a mosquito plague in and around the restaurant. It was unbearable. We were sitting inside and spent the entire time swatting mosquitoes. The staff did provide some insect repellant when I asked, but didn't take any other preventative measures (eg shut the doors, mosquito coils). On the flip side, our meals were nice - one of our group didn't enjoy their prawn liguine as the chilli was too hot, but another diner in our group raved about the quality of the steak and that it was cooked perfectly. The meals are always large, and comparable in price to any other pub/bistro meal in Mackay.

   We didn't get any food, because even though we'd booked the wait time was 1 hour. That's totally unreasonable. If there's bookings and you know your establishment well, then you know how busy it will be on a particular day and therefore have enough staff to service them. Having a lunch booking at 12:30 pm, one would assume that it's busy, but that the venue would cater for that. Half-an-hour max, is a reasonable wait for mains, not 1 hour! Play area was good for toddler. Pricing seemed a little over the top as well. As it was so busy, obviously others deal with the pricing and wait. Used to go here quite often. Not anymore.

    We had to ask the bar staff as our food had not arrived even our garlic bread. Once we spoke to them we got our bread within 5 mins and the plate of fish and chips the chips were cold and it was plated as though it was just plonked not placed . We did get some sincere apologies at the end, but was a disappointing lunch.
