    One of my favorite restaurants over the last 15 years. Not their best night. Food was room temperature, fish over done and they missed a course being delivered. I brought my dinner home and will repair it because I do like it if it is done correctly. Decided not to mention anything to staff or Mgmt due to not wanting to ruin another's time out.

    As usual, our experience at SeaStar was outstanding starting with our wonderful waiter, Sepehr. He was quick to accommodate our dietary needs and check in with us to see if we were happy with our choices. My friend loved the large succulent scallops and I absolutely loved the petrale sole. It was my friend’s birthday and we shared the complementary chocolates that Sepehr brought us. Kudos to the chef and the entire staff of SeaStar.

    The food and service was great as always. The only downside continues to be the automatic 20% service charge that the restaurant keeps for themselves (100%), while apparently expecting you to pay an additional tip to the server. This practice is unfair to the patrons (who feel compelled to tip) and/or the servers who likely receive less in tips, since many will not want to pay 40% more on an already expensive dinner.

    The food was excellent except the crudo. The crudo did not taste fresh and the flavors were missing. We had awesome oysters, an incredible blue cheese salad and Our Hawaiian fish was absolutely amazing. Despite a busy New Year’s Eve- we were seated with a reasonable wait. The bus service was fantastic. The lack of gratuity due to the service charge seemed to lead to service that was perfunctory but bland. We would come here again- the food made it very worthwhile
