The food we ordered wasn’t very tasteful. The chicken was dry which we relayed to the server and we were just told the chicken would be ‘kept an eye on next time’. Probably won’t return as the service was poor in this regard. Also had to ask to pay for the bill a few times- not very attentive. There are better places to eat in Qatar.

Vom freundlichen Empfang, über die sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, das gute Essen und Getränk, war der Aufenthalt im Secret Garden bei Nacht ein tolles Erlebnis für uns. Sehr zu empfehlen und gerne wieder.

J ai réservé une table au secret garden sur l application! Je m y rends avec une amie et à notre grande surprise…il était fermé! Je pense que la moindre des choses est de bloquer les réservations quand le restaurant est fermé! Nous sommes déçues surtout que nous étions en vacances…nous avons perdu du temps!

The overall setting and ambiance is lovely. Good happy hour from 6-9 PM. We visited two time in four days with the same level of poor service. Our one saving grace was a gentleman named Charles who exceeded our expectations with his level of service but was not available most of the time we were there. Recommended with reservations.

At our arrival, my wife and I weren't seated at the rooftop itself but rather in the loft where there was a family with two tremendously noisy children. Their screams were unbearable and my wife only wanted a quiet night out. The view was nice though but somewhat quite mediocre because of the dirty windows. Somehow, the furniture and the walls where we were seated looked old, cracked and broken and the servers, who were very polite, looked like security guards. That's a little off putting for a "prestigious" hotel and rooftop. We ordered two mocktails which were way too sweet, it's like we drank blank syrup than actual fruit juice and the tiramisu was un frozen. Too much of an industrial taste for us. Maybe if we were seated on the actual rooftop, our experience would be a little better but the noisy children ruined the whole Kempinski experience. We not renew our experience.

We arrived around 5:30pm on a Friday night for drinks and dinner. I don't know if they had an event earlier, but the service was nonexistent. There were plenty of people working, but they all seemed to be busy doing other things. Even after talking to our server and what appeared like management, nothing improved. I had to go to the bar several times to get a drink and the only prompt service was when we got the bill. What a disappointment because the view was gorgeous!

Service was horrible. No one came to our table to take our orders. We had to go get someone every time we wanted something. I had guests from overseas, and I felt embarrassed at how bad the service was.

We arrived at 6:30, with some of our friends arriving at 7pm. Our friends who arrived at 7pm didn’t get asked if they wanted something to drink for 25 minutes, then their drinks were forgotten and I had to ask the staff. Their drinks were not served to them until 7:50pm. This was more surprising as at this time there were only 4 tables in the whole bar, and we could see wait staff chatting to each other at the bar and couldn’t see us trying to get their attention. We had to go over twice to request more drinks and food to be ordered. Overall food and drink service and wait staff were slow. The food was good, though portions small unless you ordered pizza. Shisha service was quick and top ups came regularly. A nice place for drinks and dinner, we will definitely come back, but we had to work hard at times to be served. Good value if going during happy hour, but the staff need to be more attentive when the place is quiet!

had a mixed experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the hostess seemed unfriendly and dismissive, leading to a less-than-welcoming start. The drink service was slow, and the waitress explaining happy hour deals was rather rude. The food, while average, didn't stand out. On a positive note, the ambiance and outdoor seating area were the highlights of the visit. However, I had a great experience thanks to one of the waitresses who is from the Philippines (I did not get her name). Despite a busy shift with insufficient staff, she consistently provided excellent service, always smiling and eager to help. On the flip side, another waitress was dismissive and rude, especially when I asked for a take-away box, making the contrast in service quite noticeable.
