   My lady and I had a wonderful time at Sentido Norte. Visiting from California, the prices were surprisingly reasonable; cheaper in fact than restaurants in Tamarindo, where we stayed. I had the octopus entree, which was incredible, and she had the curry chicken entree.The tuna wonton appetizer was incredible as well as our cocktails, the "chameleon lemonades". Overall, for four cocktails, an appetizer, and two entrees, the total was $159 USD, sans tip. The sunset view was absolutely incredible, and I *highly* recommend snagging a sunset reservation - you will not regret it! We also explored the little town for a bit prior to dining. It's still in development, and the colors, architecture, and overall layout had quite a European vibe, similar to Barcelona. 10/10, and if we're looking for a chill vacation vibe, I wouldn't mind staying at that hotel in the future!

   We have many great things about Sentido Norte and they were all true. We drove an hour to have a sunset dinner and the food, the ambience, the people and the sunsets were better than our expectations. This Relais & Chateau experience did not disappoint. If you haven’t been it is a definite must. Make sure to go for dinner at sunset. The view is spectacular.

   Probably the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. Completely unacceptable and quite disgusting. Took 35 minutes for 1 drink, apps came before our drinks, and funny enough we caught our server stuffing the apps behind the host table as they realized we still hadn’t received our drinks so when the app came it was soggy and disgusting (yes we still received them before our drinks) we also received no water, second drink was forgotten and took another 45 minutes to arrive. Was on my hands and knees fixing our table, begging our server William to remove our dirty dishes that sat on our table for over an hour. Ordered premium tequila but was served hot house brand and charged for premium. Tried ordering wine with our meal but they took the menus from us before being able to order. So disappointing to say the least. I’ve never written a review before as I don’t have the highest standards but when we were treated the way we were I want to ensure the next person is not left as disappointed as we were. Overall a complete nightmare and waste of time and money. Someone should be held accountable for this disaster.

   La experiencia en este lugar siempre es muy placentera y orgánica! La vista del atardecer es una de las mejores que se puede apreciar en Guanacaste! El personal siempre es muy atento!

   Muy buen servicio como siempre! Resaltar el super buen servicio y atención de Roberto, William y Omer. Felicitaciones para el barman, los tragos estuvieron muy bueno, on point! Feedback personal: esta vez el menú me pareció muy reducido, muy pocas opciones y definitivamente falta el risotto. (Igual lo que ordenamos estuvo espectacular) Muchas gracias 🙏✨
