SER is the winner of the Ballston Business Improvement District's 2014 Restaurant Challenge. It is an authentic Spanish tavern or “food house” with a casual, hipster vibe. But, take note…it’s not a tapas restaurant. It’s a gastronomical journey and cultural adventure throughout every region of Spain. It’s an easy-going gathering spot where guests can enjoy typical comfort foods and beverages from Spain at any time of the day or night. We had lunch at SER today and I was pretty impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. Everything was perfect. We loved the rockfish and the ternera. This latter one, very authentic like in Asturias. And service was also very nice, our server always had a smile on her face. This became our favorite place in Arlington.

We had the Dover sole, filleted table side, burger, and short ribs. Everything was excellently prepared as always. The fish here is always delicious. Our favorite Arlington restaurant.

We love SER and have been many times. We were a large party of 11 that evening and sort of felt like we were being rushed out. We were going to order more food but the waiter was very quick to get us the bill. We actually ended up opening another bill and ordering two more bottles of wine. We were still hungry but decided to go home. We will be back as every other experience has been amazing.

Always a great experience. The drinks were spectacular and the food was delicious. The people taking care of us were so friendly and gave great service. Will be back soon!
