   The food was great no doubt about it. I was looking forward to try their Knafeh and Baklava but I was disappointed. I have tried it earlier and it was great but this time both the desserts were not their usual standard. Having said that rest all was great. The place looked beautiful and the dinner was great.

   This has to be the best Middle Eastern food served by an actual Middle Eastern Restaurant. Often you see the cuisine offered in a multicultural restaurant but it’s always far off the real deal. Where as at Shaku Maku, we were served real authentic middle eastern food, (said by a Middle Eastern guy who struggled to find certain authentic dishes in Ireland including Jordanian’s). Of course some dishes had to be adapted to a wider audience including Irish people but it works and doesn’t change the dish too much, you can see it in how many Irish people were at the restaurant which is great. One down side is that the restaurant is far from where I live, but I’ll definitely be ordering in through Deliveroo. Prices are a bit high for what the actual dishes are (again coming from an Arabic guy who knows what those ingredients cost) but prices here are very similar to other places where they claim to be authentic, so I guess you are paying for good quality authentic food and for rarity. All the guys there were friendly and had nothing but smiles on their faces. Overall I’d highly recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

   Fabulous food and great service. Everything was so fresh and flavourful. We’re still thinking about some of the dishes we had and looking forward to our next visit.

   One of the best meals I have ever had in Dublin. We got the Mezze to share, cauliflower fritters and halloumi. Ordered more flatbread and fritters, as they were so delicious. Fantastic service from start to finish, including a fabulous owner who was very hands on and going to check on everyone. We ended the evening with baklava for dessert. Very reasonable prices as well. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

   Only discovered that Shaku Maku existed when looking for a Middle Eastern place in Dublin. Wish we had discovered it earlier. The food was amazing. Would highly recommend.

    The food was amazing, it was all so tasty. We loved trying all the different dishes that came with the mezze. A lot of us really enjoyed the lamb for a main course. We couldn't fault a single thing. I enjoyed finishing off my meal with a mint tea and baklava. We all appreciated the fantastic conversation with the owner, he was so friendly and his story is so interesting. We would recommend this restaurant 100%, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
