    The best place in Chicago for authentic steak and seafood. They also have the best Manhattans in the city. Simply amazing every time we go!

    Gerardo the server made the wntire experienve for us outstanding from soup to nuts.Everything was freadh and tasty. The dessert home made and phenominal - Bluberry -peach xobbler . This is a perfect restaurant for greaat food drinks and conversation.

    27 years ago, we had our first date at Shaw's Crab House Chicago. This past Saturday, we returned to celebrate our wedding anniversary. From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. Everyone greeted us warmly and said "Happy 27th Anniversary!". We were seated at a lovely table and served by Libby D. Libby was great- she had a great sense of humor, and was very knowledgeable about all things on the menu. Libby suggested a wonderful bottle of wine, which was perfect! Everything ordered was absolutely perfect and done to perfection. The dining room was quite busy and crowded, but we were able to have a nice conversation over dinner, which almost never happens in restaurants anymore. There were many staff and managers walking around to ensure everyone's evening was enjoyable. Shaw's finished our evening by bringing us out a lovely dessert sampler complete with candles, on the house. All in all, our evening was a 10/10! Absolutely perfect, and we can't wait to return! And when we do, we will ask for Libby D.!

    We are regulars but usually sit in the bar side of the restaurant. This time we sat in the oyster bar and Sandra waited on us. She was great and so was the rest of the crew! Food never disappoints! See you all soon!

    Oyster sampler was good, chicken was excellent, would also recommend the filet and lobster Oscar. All the servers that refill water, take plates and assist the meal were excellent. Our specific server did not give us a warm welcome, offer suggestions or really check in. We felt rushed with her and it made it seem like we were on a time clock.

    We came for dinner on a Friday night and the place was packed. Make sure to make reservations. The atmosphere was great for a seafood restaurant. This place is for whatever kind of night you want. We saw wedding parties, birthdays, date nights and people coming in after the Cubs game, they welcome all. The food and drinks were top notch. Service was as expected at a restaurant like this, which was top tier. If you're looking for good seafood in Downtown Chicago, try this place

    Shaws Crab House was an extraordinary experience! Our server was outstanding and the food was delicious. It has a very campy classic vibe. Loved our time dining there!
