Iran forms a bridge between the Middle East and the Far East in the centre of the ancient Silk Road, a major trading route which goes back tens of thousands of years.

Persian cuisine has influenced many world cuisines, and has absorbed elements from other cuisines as well. It's no surprise that Persian ingredients such as saffron, pomegranate have made their way into other cuisines! As ancient traders took their wares to the corners of the world, they traded goods, bringing back the eating habits and ingredients from Greece, Rome, Turkey, Russia and India. Today's Persian cuisine traces its roots to ancient Persian ingredients and recipes.

First time eating Persian cuisine and we all thought it was very tasty and well presented. Everyone enjoyed the Share mix plates and the meats and seafood presented were very well prepared and cooked. The saffron joonah was delicious. Great place for a gathering of friends, we were 14 and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and always had a smile.will go back just to try some of the other dishes. Well worth a visit.

We ordered the Mediterranean platter for $109 Wow !!!! The seasoning on the lamb chops, the chicken and beef skewers was spot on. The rice was fantastic. Couldn’t get to the salad as we were so full. I think you could feed two adults and two children with it. Will be back. 😊

Have been wanting to try this place for some time. Finally booked and so glad we did. It was delicious. Service from our waitress Julia was great. Cocktails were amazing! Food was very tasty and plenty of it. We’ll be back.

I had the most incredible dining experience at Shiraz Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the warm and cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food. We ordered several dishes, and every single one was a masterpiece. The Mahiche was unbelievably tender and rich in flavor, topped with crispy fried onions and paired perfectly with saffron rice and baghali polo. The Shishlik was grilled to perfection amd juicy koobideh served with barberry rice and fresh salad. Even the sides like the freshly baked naan and Mirza ghasemi were bursting with authentic Persian flavors, comforting, bold, and absolutely satisfying. Every dish came beautifully presented on traditional metal plates that added to the experience. You can tell they truly care about quality, authenticity, and presentation. Whether you’re Persian or just curious to try something new, this place delivers the true taste of Iran with every bite. Highly recommend it for a date night, family dinner, or even just to treat yourself. Location: Perfect for a relaxed night out. 💯 Would come back again and again. ✨ Noosh-e-jan indeed!
