   Two of us had the set menu and did the assorted tempura, main and creme brulee. Lots of tempura and huge creme brulees. Great main course cooked to perfection.

   We visited this Japanese open-kitchen restaurant and were absolutely impressed! The atmosphere is amazing — everything is cooked right in front of you, with the chefs performing an incredible fire show as they prepare the dishes. It’s not just dinner, it’s a full-on experience! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and full of flavor — we especially loved the grilled shrimp, lobsters, beef, and sautéed vegetables. Each dish was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent — the staff was friendly, attentive, and very professional. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and tasty night out. Perfect spot for both family dinners and special occasions!

   We had the most excellent experience at Shogun the other night. We went for my husband’s birthday celebration. My daughter and I shared the seafood dinner which was so delicious. Our server Nikin, was helpful and delivered excellent service. Our cook Sang, was funny and engaging, and the food he cooked was divine. It was a very memorable experience. I highly recommend Shogun!

   This was our first time at this restaurant and it was very pleasant. The chef could have been a bit more animated but everything was tasty and prepared well.

   We had the Signature Sapporo dish on teppanyaki. This is a combo to save us time from browsing and just enjoy the moment. Our chef was Carl and it was fun, flare, and flair! The vegetables were perfectly grilled and sizzled with sauce. The salmon is sharp and the lobster rich. Excellent and high quality notes. We were getting full half-way thru but can’t stop because the entire meal was so flavourful. The sauces added that extra punch. Of course, all that fun smell of cooking in a flat open grill will hover around long after you’ve driven home. Just leave those windows open and savour the memory of a wonderful night!

   I have eaten at Shogun numerous times throughout the years and the food quality is always consistently perfect. The shotgun combo is an amazing dining experience as you get scallops, shrimp chicken and beef. We went with a group of seven people and everybody raved about how good the food was and totally enjoyed our experience.

    Great service from Sharon and great chef Song. Went for my birthday and everyone had a great meal and were out of there in less than 1.5 hours.
