                                                                            Everything in the experience was top notch. Only one small issue, when we came in, hostess wanted to seat us at a 2 top in the bar. We are an older couple dressed in designer clothes me in a blazer, wife in a dress. Give us a good table. Manager quickly stepped in and separated a 4 top to create the perfect spot for two upstairs in the window. Surprised that they had a Raw Bar. Ordered a roll for appetizer and wife ordered a Caesar salad. Both were perfect. Main course, Filet Mignon for me and Sea Bass for her. Steak was rare as ordered and seared perfectly. Meat was so tender it barely needed a knife. What a great cut of meat. Sea Bass was prepared perfectly as well. We both had risotto for side and it was delicious. Server, Junior, was personable and professional. Made sure everything came out at the right time and checked on us throughout. Very impressed. We will be back.

Beautiful decor but as the dining room filled the noise level increased to the point that people had to raise their voices to be heard across the table. There was a quiet table near the bar I’d request next time. The noise level made it unpleasant.

                                                                            Look this is a struggle. I have been to shorebird several times now. I have food allergies and I have just avoided the stuff I’m allergic to on past visits. This time, after informing them of my allergies I asked for what I thought was a simple substitution (a salad dressing). I was told no problem and was charged more for it. They completely screwed it up and gave me the wrong thing. After one bite I realized and informed my server. Nothing. I don’t know if I can go back. I haven’t been to a restaurant in 15 - 20 years that has screwed up like this. Super careless.
