   The Resturant ambience is very nice overlooking SJ. Love the rooftop experience. The only problem was our waiter did not speak English enough to understand our order. He had to locate another server to translate each time we had a question about an item on the menu or wanted something prepared a certain way. This was somewhat unusual as we have never experienced this in a nice Mexican restaurant. ( we travel extensively in Mexico and other countries and come to San Jose del Cabo twice a year). I don’t expect perfect english from a server in Mexico but this was extreme. It won’t keep us from comIng back however.

   Very attentive wait staff, good food and drinks, and the vibe was very cute! The music was the only drawback as it was a little bit loud but the server had no problems turning it down for us!

   WE had an unforgettable experience at Simaruba. The views, especially at sunset, were absolutely stunning, and the live music created such a wonderful ambiance. The food was fantastic—delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions were generous, all at very reasonable prices. The cocktails were top-notch, some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was exceptional, making us feel like VIPs. I highly recommend Simaruba for anyone seeking a perfect dining experience!

   La nuestra fue una cena de amigos y la pasamos de maravilla, la atención fue de primera, en verdad mucho mejor que otros restaurantes del área. Para nuestra sorpresa hubo clases de salsa y al final la gente seguía bailando, muy agradable. A pesar de la música podíamos platicar en un ambiente muy agradable al aire libre. La comida estupenda, pedimos una ensalada de vegetales asados y una tabla de quesos y charcutería... ah y churros de postre. Todo delicioso, con gusto regreso y lo recomiendo!!

   I had an amazing experience at this rooftop restaurant! The view, especially during sunset, was breathtaking, and the live music added the perfect touch to the atmosphere. The food was exquisite, with generous portions, and incredibly affordable compared to other places in the area. The cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever had. On top of that, the service was exceptional; from the moment we arrived until the very end, we were treated like royalty.    We had an amazing dining experience at this beautiful rooftop restaurant in Cabo! The ambiance is perfect, with live music adding to the relaxed yet lively atmosphere. So far, this place has served us the best food in Cabo! The portions were generous, and the prices were incredibly affordable for the quality. We enjoyed the corn esquites, the Beetroot Salad, Salmon, and the Mexican Risotto with seafood — each dish was bursting with flavor. As for drinks, the cocktails were absolutely outstanding! The Simaruba Pina Colada style drink with daquiri Foam is a must-try – it’s honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Cabo!
