   I’ve always really enjoyed Simmer in the past but this time not so much. The prices have gone up. The portions have gotten smaller. The service really wasn’t that great. I ordered a lager beer and it came completely flat and the waitress kept saying that that’s how it’s supposed to be. I know it’s not because I drink the same beer from taps often. It was just kind of frustrating, then they charged me for three beers when I only got one., when we pointed out the mistake they changed it, but was just a bit annoying. I really like the taste of the food, but everything else just kind of soured the trip

   Thanks for visiting and the feedback. I'm sorry about the issues with the beer. There is no excuse for that, and I will follow up with the team to insure we make improvements. We did make some of our appetizers smaller, but we also lowered their prices at the same time. The goal was to make it easier for people to get more variety. The other price increases were to keep up with the costs of our ingredients. I really appreciate the feedback and I'm sorry we handled the beer so poorly.

   Nice place for a drink with some appetizers that are a bit different than the usual ones you’ll find at most restaurants. Great ambiance and lots of good conversations. We had the chicken satay which was plentiful with a peanut dip. I wouldn’t call it a sauce since it was thicker than that. Coconut rice was delicious. Green beans were very tasty. I had a new fish dish which had a tropical salsa. It was delicious. We were happy to be able to partake in Happy Hour for our drinks so we received a bit of a discount!

   The food was pretty good. Butternut squash ravioli is delicious but a little expensive for a pasta dish. My husband ordered a burger that was tasty but fries were a little cold. Atmosphere was nice and intimate, server was attentive and sweet. Decent size pour on the wine and good happy hour options.

   Excellent local treat with thoughtful entries and decent beer and wine selection. Great for a casual night out.

   The food was mediocre, at best, and our waitress was friendly but not especially attentive. I would would not recommend Simmer to others. Fort Collins has many other restaurants with great food for the same money, or even less.

   Great menu with a variety of creative appetizers and entrées to please everyone in the group. We love the bacon wrap dates, cauliflower, wings, and truffle fries. Great, friendly service and a nice outdoor patio. Tucked far enough away from CSU campus that you can usually find a table.

   Cocktails were very good. Food was so so. My partner had chili soup and said it was way too spicy. Our entrees were also not very tasty and too salty (meatballs and linguine). Dessert was great. We did enjoy wonderful service.

    I had the Caesar salad with grilled salmon. The salad was good but the salmon was dried out and flavorless. My wife had the butternut squash with walnuts. She said it was good but they forgot the walnuts. Overall it was underwhelming.
