Sisters Thai is excited to expand with a new location in Old Town Alexandria, thanks to a long-standing partnership with Edens since 2015. This fourth location is special, combining the beloved Sisters Thai restaurant with the Magnolia Dessert Bar & Coffee, known for its unique and charming desserts. The 4,500 sq. ft. space will feature Sisters Thai's signature decor, including a brick wall mural of the King of Thailand and the Magnolia shop's floral touches, particularly the "Magnolia Grand Garland" at the entrance. The space aims to provide a welcoming ambiance, with a focus on quality food and desserts. Despite the challenges, the team is dedicated to bringing their vision to life and hopes guests will enjoy the experience.

    This is my favorite Thai restaurant. It’s so cute, great cocktails, and delicious food! Service is always friendly. Highly highly recommend reservations - this place is busy for a reason.

    Chicken satay was dry and not enough peanut sauce. Dumplings were unremarkable. Drunken noodle entree with chicken- the noodles were a glutinous mess and inedible. The fried rice with shrimp and combo meat was a ball of ingredients, none of which stood out. Service was fine and vibe was low key.

    Love this place and we visit quite often. It's a sure go to when we have out of town guests but this past Friday evening it seemed like the already moderately sized portions were especially tiny. We were a party of seven and I ordered 5 entrees and 2 appetizers which normally would be fine. We actually had to place an order for two additional entrees to fill the gaps due to the tiny servings. I hate to have to look for a new go to but if the next time we return and the sizes are a repeat of this visit, we will not return--or at least not on the regular basis that we currently visit.

    My first time visiting Sisters Thai was with my sister & the second time was with my husband & son. Both time the experience was great. Although the first time we were rushed from our rear corner window table, apparently it’s highly requested. The owner/ manager told our waitress to inform us that we had 25 minutes to finish our newly ordered coffee & dessert. I didn’t like being rushed but we did finish in time. The drink service could be a lot quicker, I would suggest hiring additional bartenders. Our first drink came out in a timely manner but the second drink we ordered took way too long. Overall I would recommend this establishment, make a reservation if after 3pm.

    This was my first time here and the reviews definitely pulled me in. I reserved. Table for 8 the same day on a Friday night. We were seated immediately and had great service all night. The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty, and the ambiance was stellar. My friend had a great birthday dinner complete with a special desert from the restaurant.
