The award-winning, full-service Skillet Diner is opening in the iconic Post Alley of Seattle in June 2023. We’re a neighborhood joint doing our best to make the place feel relaxed, service attentive and easy, and the food approachable yet focused. We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients and continually redefine the meaning of comfort. The style of food is like what we’re known for on the airstream. The difference? We have so much more room! Bring a date, your kids, or your out-of-town guests and an appetite. We look forward to putting some tasty treats in your belly.

The prices were high for mediocre food. The happy hour menu is better deal but still just okay food. The server was the only person working front of house so it was very slow. We felt for him - he was managing the host stand, taking orders, serving the tables, bussing the tables, and even bartending. Way too much for one person, which slowed service and led to some of our food being brought out cold. Lots of tables left not bussed because he just had way too much to juggle. There are a lot of other options to eat in the area - I’d pick something different next time.

Food was fine but the restaurant was kind of dumpy and not super clean.

Been going to skillet for over 10 years. They’ve lost their way. I understand they’re trying to scale the business, but that has been at the cost of quality. One of the biggest selling points was hand cut french fries which they’ve stopped doing major bummer. Also tasted like they pre-cooked the fried chicken and then reheated it before it was super dry. Just not the same will not go back.

It was a busy game day Sunday and we had my father and mother who had a wheelchair and walker. We were not only late getting to the reservation but had a lot of request’s once at the table. The staff was friendly, accommodating and patient. They went above and beyond to make my parents comfortable and Jill, our server, was amazing! The food was fantastic- the breakfast potatoes were slammin’ and everyone loved what they got (pancakes, French toast, avocado breakfast burrito and MIMOSAS). Great location with easy access elevator just beyond the harbor steps.

Stopped in here while in town for the Niners/Seahawks game. Unfortunately can’t remember our waitress’s name but she was very helpful with suggestions . Had the Robert & it was delicious! My husband had the Breakfast Bowl & loved it. I would highly suggest eating here!
