   Slate Bistro & Craft Bat is a wonderful restaurant. I highly recommend it. Starting from the friendly service and the delicious drinks and food, this restaurant is a must for anyone looking for a great night out. The Tsunami sushi roll my husband and I had was the best I’ve ever had and our meals, the filet mignon and slow braised short rib were amazing. The sauces that came with our meals were so delicious too. Slate is a great restaurant in so many ways and everything was perfect about our visit/dinner.

   Great food and services. The tomahawk ribeye was excellent. Our only complaint was for a reservation for our anniversary we were seated at the smallest table by the kitchen with the air conditioning vent right above us.

   We had a wonderful visit. Totally enjoyed the food and wait staff. The overhead lighting had a blip at our back table but not too distracting. We will return for sure

   First time here new to Camarillo. Stale was awesome! We will return again and often. Food was excellent wine list great. Yousef and Leo were attentive and awesome!

   Our server Teri is outstanding and was very attentive to us. She made sure all of our needs were met and she has such a friendly personality. We will be requesting her in future dining there. The food is cooked to perfection and tastes great. My hubby had the pork chops and I had sushi. great food. We have eaten here before and we love it.

   We went for the Christmas Eve special buffet. It was their first specialty dining experience we’ve been to. The staff there is always attentive and friendly, it can get a little loud since it’s a smaller space, but there was a saxophonist playing which drowned out much of the other’s conversation. The food selection was great, but the desserts assortment was lacking, in my opinion. Overall, great experience and I’ll do it again!

   Food was great when it actually came out. Took us 50min from when we sat down to get a sushi roll and cheese bread. Kitchen was amazingly slow. Waiter was great when he showed up, not sure if they had a staffing issue. Our waiter was running around all night. Took about 2 hours from sitting down to leaving and we knew what we wanted when we first saw the waiter. Manager didn’t come by once to apologize. Waiter did give us a free dessert though. Really nice guy. Might give them another chance.

    Great place! Happened to be in Camarillo so we made reservations based on Open Tables positive reviews. We were not disappointed at all. What place has both sushi and meat dishes? Plus the cocktails were fabulous and so was our waitress. Just wished we lived closer!
