The food is always consistently great. Every time we go to any of the sleigh restaurants. It seemed like last night. It was a little loud but shockingly so usually it’s not that loud.

Food was just okay and service wasn’t the best. Went in for 2 and to start it off we had the toasted ravioli as well as the garlic bread. The toasted ravioli lacked flavor and we personally weren’t a fan of it. The garlic bread was pretty good. We then got the Margarita Pizza ($25), the Penne Primavera ($26) and the Flat Iron Steak ($48), and everything we had just lacked flavor. Expected more out of this place, especially with these prices and the ratings/reviews. The best thing we had was the Garlic Bread. Not only that but, our waiter just seemed as if she didn’t want to be there and as she was pouring our water, she missed the cup and spilled a lot of water on our table, then just walks away. I get that it was valentine’s day but overall, not a great experience.

The food is consistently good. We had the foccacia, flat iron steak, lasagna, and a bottle of the restaurant's pinot noir. The restaurant is extremely loud. Our server was uncomfortably intense.

We had a completely enjoyable experience, the servers were really well trained and attentive. The food was marvelous and not only did it taste fabulous the aesthetic of the plating was also awesome. Good to see the owner chef come out and circulate through the tony eatery. Definitely would recommend.

Absolutely love Slay! It was my second time visiting and it didn’t disappoint. Started with the fried ravioli it was so good. The chopped salad was so fresh and delicious. Margarita pizza was 10/10 and the pasta alla vodka was my favorite. Such a cozy great spot!

Great food & great service. If you’re looking for a more quaint, intimate experience (than chain Italian food) with authentic tasting food, this is it. Plus you are only a 5 minute walk to the Manhattan Beach Pier. Relatives from out of town loved it too!

Some dishes were hits and others not so much. Pasta wasn't homemade, which was disappointing for an italian restaurant. Desserts however were amazing. If I was going to go back it would just be to grab dessert. The tiramusu and cheesecake were outstanding. Highly recommend for dessert.
