Such a cozy, upscale restaurant in the heart of Pacific Beach. The food and drinks are fantastic. Our server was pleasant and efficient.

First time dining here. It is a delightful and welcoming restaurant with well trained staff and more importantly excellent food. The risotto with Salmon was perfectly prepared and presented. The wine list was a pleasant surprise - nicely balanced selections. We live in La Jolla and will return.

Been wanting to try this place for awhile. Good cocktails but fairly limited wine menu - BUT the selections on there were great choices and very reasonable prices. Tuna crudo app was a little too salted and chewy, the oysters were good but salty (if that’s not your thing), and the bread and herb butter were very good. I had a lamb stuffed pepper for dinner that was good and my husband had aracharra steak which was very good. It was a bit empty at six in the dining room when we went but by the time we left at 8 it was very busy. Our server Ruby was great. This restaurant is very cute and has a great ambiance except for the music sucked and it was loud.. it was 2000’s hits or something and we didn’t really care to listen to Ke$ha and Taylor Swift during dinner.. it was weird.

love Lillian at the aperitivo station. helped us seated on a table at the bar area. responded kindly to requests, and replenished the table regularly. the blond young guy with her was kind and helpful and equally efficient at cleanup. the small bites aperitivos were perfect. love the potpie the most, esp the warm ones, on this cold night. the cocktails were good as well. i love the concept. pls stay awhile. thanks

Overall great little spot! The charred broccolini was delicious, and the BREAD, probably the best I’ve had in years, which included a recent trip to Italy. The arrachera was very good, although the pasta we thought was a little bland, but don’t let that deter you, overall the food was really nice.

We recently went in for a 5:00 pm Valentines dinner. We ordered drinks, bread, salads, and the brazino. We received everything except the brazino very quickly and everything tasted great. We waited and waited for the brazino, and then we saw some served to a couple next to us that had been seated 15 minutes after us. Then a server came back to this couple with some salmon and took away the brazino. I immediately asked our server if there was a mixup and when could we get our food. Her response "we're very busy and your food will be out soon". After 15 more minutes, when we were ready to leave...the brazino arrived. It tasted really good, but the waitress left a bad taste in my mouth. Probably will not go back to "Slowly".
