Sneakers is a family friendly sports themed restaurant. Everything about this restaurant is designed around watching, enjoying and cheering for sports. Sneakers has been chosen as one of America's best sports bars by CNN, USA Today, ESPN and many others for over 20 years. Adorned with 8 towering movie theater size big screens & too many TV's to count, Sneakers hallowed walls are covered with memorabilia from all facets of sports. There is always plenty to see inside, or choose to enjoy the beach and dine on our covered outside patio with full bar & ocean view with, of course, more TV's. Sneakers menu contains favorites like burgers, salads, sandwiches & appetizers including towering nacho stacks, alligator bites, peel n' eat shrimp, quesadillas & more. Sneakers also features chicken wings, fried ribs & shrimp with a variety of house made sauces.

Walking into Sneakers we could see they were understaffed. No one behind the bar, no host/hostess and we waited for about five minutes for someone to seat us. No one did and then we sat ourselves at an open table. A waiter finally came over to check on us and you can tell he was overworked but was courteous and professional our entire time. I give him full credit and I'm definitely not mad at him for appearing tired and overworked. The food was excellent and the tvs were beautiful since we were there to watch the Knicks game 2. That was truly the saving grace from initially what we thought would be a bad experience. Definitely a place to hit to watch the game, don't know why the place was semi vacant that night in particular.

I made a reservation for 8 on line through Open table. We arrived on time despite parking issues. Parked right next to building and had to pay $15 to park. We saw one server when we arrived and she was also the hostess I guess. She was working hard but we waited several minutes for her to greet us. I told her we made a reservation. She said they had no reservations for us. I showed her the confirmation on my phone from Open Table and she said they didn’t have it. She seated us and we waited several minutes until a different server came over and asked if we had been helped. I said no. She apologized and said she was off work but would help us. She was very good. Our food was good but nothing special. I asked if they validated parking and she said not if we already paid. She said if we had just come in first they could have done something but how would we know that? This sounded like a great place on the website but our experience fell short and we were disappointed. Wish we had gone somewhere else and we will not go back there again. Disappointed!

Went in on a Tuesday evening, place was really quiet and not busy. Prompt service. Wife had the mahi sandwich (grilled) and was very pleased. I had the wings basket and was also happy, some of the best wing sauce I've had in a long time. Only real complaint is it would be nice if they had some alcohol-free beer, like Heineken 0.0 or Stella Artois 0. Will definitely be back for the wings.

Sneakers used to be a great place. It has slipped. Four of us went to dinner there last weekend. They screwed up the meals for three of us. At one time, we were regulars and actually knew the servers by name. Then. we became occasional diners. The past weekend sealed the deal and we will never return. Sad...

Went in to catch the Duke vs UCF game, the server was attentive the drinks were great and the food was good.

We were there for mid-night Yell Practice for the Texas A & M Bowl game against NC State. It helped that I had made a reservation as the line was out of the door that night. Our table was reserved, our waitress was extremely polite. She was overwhelmed by all the people that night. She kept her cool and most attentitive. Thank you for a great night.
