   Such wonderful service from everyone there, the food was delicious and of course the wine was perfect. Such a wonderful little gem in a thriving area. Well worth visiting and we can highly recommend it.

   Fantastic evening. The service was excellent and the food was delicious, but I would say the portions are quite big. We had 3 plates of food between 2 of us and we couldn’t finish it. Two of the wines on the menu weren’t in stock which was disappointing, but otherwise I love this place and will definitely be a regular!

   As usual, Mauro and Trini gave us a very warm welcome and attention to detail was second to none. What a lovely venue to spend the evening, with or without music. Thank you!

   A great night, good food, wine & music. Quite noisy but expected with live music. Staff very attentive but not intrusive, will definitely be back.

   This is a new find for us and we love it. Beautiful selection of wines, quality cocktails and good selection of food to accompany recommended wine from knowledgeable and welcoming staff. Will be making many return visits to Sobo:Sommelier.

   The food and drink are great as are the couple who run that aspect of it. Good quality ingredients and a nice selection of wines served by a knowledgeable sommelier. The live music was much better than we had anticipated. We nearly didn't go as it was labeled as a Jazz night, but it is not what I would call jazz, it was good easy listening music and actually very enjoyable. The "gentleman" who I established to be a partner in the company, made us feel very unwelcome. He wasn't welcoming on arrival (there was no one else there yet so it's not like he was busy) and looked us up and down like we shouldn't be there. Later in the evening he wouldn't get eye contact, as clearly didn't want to serve us, so we sat without drinks a couple of times on a quiet evening. He literally threw our basket of bread (that came with the sharing platter) on the table without a word. We had thought he was homophobic but then he treated an elderly couple with as much distain as us, so I'm not sure. Maybe we are just not the clientele he is hoping for. I would suggest though, If he can't give good customer service, he should stay behind the scenes.

   I went with friends on a Friday and it was my first visit. There was a singer and that was my main reason for going. He was an excellent entertainer. The staff were all lovely and the sharing platter very tasty. I chose a French wine from a region I am familiar with and it didn't disappoint. Friends didn't have wine so I just ordered a glass. I will definitely return with friends. Warm friendly atmosphere, Mauro is charming.
