Society is an energetic and fun restaurant and bar located in Tempe on the corner of University and Rural next-door to the Tempe Improv. Society offers inventive Italian and Mediterranean cuisine created by Chef Armando Aguirre. We offer our full dinner menu daily from 4pm to 1:30am with Happy Hour Sunday-Thursday 4pm to 6pm and Reverse Happy Hour Wednesday night from 10PM-12AM. Society is a stunning oasis in the desert with a large 28 seat illuminated rose quartzite bar top with an extensive wine list and creative house cocktails. We have plush booths, couches and a separate dining room area. When visiting Society we want you to escape with us and enjoy our hospitality!

I booked a last minute birthday reservation and I could not have been more happy about my experience. Not only was the place gorgeous but the food was also amazing. Our server did an outstanding job and helped us with everything he possibly could. Society is definitely a new favorite for my family!

The food was amazing. The server was very helpful with my food allergy at suggesting options safe for me. Interesting decor. Lots to look at. So many different food options. We are looking forward to.coming back and trying other things too.

Don’t be intimidated if you see a huge line, it’s from the Improv next door. The noise level was a bit louder than I like but we were also meeting another couple we had not seen in some time so we were planning for conversation. Service was really good. We had a server in training and she did outstanding. I believe her name was Olga. Parking is a real challenge with the Improv having a show the same time we went so go a little early and plan to make a little walk. They had one of my favorites whiskey’s that getting hard to find (Blantons). and the price for it was reasonable. Overall, we would go back.

A great place for a creative cocktail and a nice dinner. Varied menu selections allow something for everyone. Cozy bar and dining room. Terrific service!

Another great experience at society, for my Girlfriends Birthday, I accidentally booked a table for 2 on the OpenTable app when I wanted to book a group of 5 instead. I called when they opened and they resolved it for me right away! Food was amazing, service was sharp, and the menu they presented my partner with that had her name on it was a clever touch. Highly recommended, gotta get the Whipped Feta dip.
