   Not my favorite Italian place. Best Italian place hands down is La Padrona in Boston. Nothing was notable about the dishes except the pesto around the arrincini appetizers which tasted freshly made. Everything else was pretty sub standard for the pricing

   “Best of the North Shore” absolutely struggles to cook a pizza well done. Ordered one, undercooked, the second one came out raw in the middle. Floor manager was overly patronizing, leading the table visit with “well I guess we can’t cook a pizza huh”, not the greatest start to that conversation… Our Server, Jesus was absolutely phenomenal, fantastic service. Everything else about the visit is phenomenal, but this was my third and last time trying to order a well done pizza from here, seems a bit too advanced for them.

Our custom oven cooks the pizzas in 90 seconds at 700* degrees. I'm sorry if you found the managers visit to your table to be patronizing, I can assure you that was not the intent.    Greeted warmly by the hostess off to a great start! Kevin-Server was very attentive. Wine options limited by the glass and on the pricey side. Ordered arugula salad to start- very tasty. Tagliatelle short ribs were off the chart -so yummy! Profiteroles for desert were served warm with salted caramel sauce- sublime!!! The big negative is the noise. It was a Tuesday night and there were several large parties that combined with the two man band/live entertainment made it impossible to have a conversation without shouting. Too bad. Would go back if it was a more calm environment.

   Food was good (not great) quality of food (good), portions of food (small) especially for the price. (adding a little pasta cost nothing). "You're paying for the atmosphere"
