   My review is based on our overall experience at Soho, not just on the food. My son and I both had the prime rib special, and it was quite good. On arrival, the hostess told us she had our reservation but could not seat us yet. There were a good number of open tables but we had to wait 10 or 15 minutes before being seated. The hostess was unsmiling and not welcoming. Our very small table for 2 was in one of the center rooms, and on one side of there was a large table of 9 women, obviously celebrating with much shrieking laughter and yelling from one end of the table to the other end. My son and I, seated right across from each other, could not hear each other talk. And as the large table guests consumed one festive drink after another, the noise level became even worse. We were seated for almost 2 hours to eat a salad and an entree, with long periods of nothing to eat on our table. I really believe our waiter, who was always nice and polite, was doing the best he could considering the number of tables he had to cover. Obviously Soho does not have enough wait staff to take care of a large number of diners. But my son and I were fortunate regarding the reason we came in the first place - we did get prime rib. People who had reservations at 7 pm were told they were all out of prime rib. I don't want to experience this kind of dining atmosphere again.

   The Ahi tuna was great, large portion. My pork chop was good, texture was firm, large bone -in portion. The Apple pie desert from Southern Baked Pie Company was not as good as a previous visit: it was thin, too much crumbles, not much apples. Other tables were served rolls and butter, we were not. Our waiter, Allen, was good.

   Went to celebrate a birthday. Had a great table next to the window (it got a little chilly to be honest) and it was beautiful to look out on the light. I can imagine that it will be gorgeous when the holiday lighting is installed in the shopping center. Regarding the food, we took forever to decide because we wanted every single one of the meat and fish offerings. We settled on the NY Strip for 2. Medium rare was perfect - added the hugest slab of butter I've ever seen in my life. Sides of roasted carrots and roasted new potatoes were delicious. Salads were delicious. We left Not One Morsel of food on our plates. We will return soon.

   Thank you SOHO for bringing back prime rib! It was my Sunday night staple pre-COVID and I am so happy to see it back and done so well. Thank you! Next, please bring back the Noodle Bowl. My son, who will fly in from Texas for it and I will be there with bells on!

   My girlfriend and I had such a pleasant dinner at SoHo for a last minute girls night. Service was attentive and the chicken piccata and Artisan salad were great! Try the warm apple pie !

   I ordered the tuna tartare, over the crab cake, on the recommendation of my server, Jackie. I was disappointed: the stack was all tuna, but was dry and lacked flavor I compared it to the tartare at Seasons 52( which has avocado, salsa and seasonings), which is moist and delicious. When the manager came by, and asked me how dinner was, I told him about not liking the tuna, and he promptly told me that he would take it off my bill. I ordered the Scottish salmon, and substituted the potatoes for a tomato risotto. It, also, came with haricot vert, and was delicious.
