Drinks were slow to come but it was always polite and friendly service.. Tempura prawns and veg were nice and crispy and tasty. The spicy noodles lamb dish was tasty but very greasy. We would return but select less greasy food perhaps.

Lovely Japanese & Korean restaurant. I had duck Bao Buns and the Spicy Lamb Korean Noodles. The Bao Buns were soft and the duck inside was sweet with the sauce which was delectable. You get two of these Bao Buns when you order which I thought was enough and was a great side to the noodles. Speaking of, the noodles were great. When it comes to spice, my tolerance is quite low and I thought these were on the moderate to high end of my spice scale. However this did not take away from how tasty these noodles were; I’ve never had Korean noodles before and they’re thicker than usual noodles which I liked. The lamb was a little tough however I thought it suited this dish more than a really tender lamb would. The only criticism I have of this restaurant was that it was little cold inside and they were playing god awful Christmas music.

Food was great, service also with friendly attentive staff. Just felt a little flat on atmosphere. The right choice of music could make the difference but regardless, I’d definitely go again

The food was outstanding and the service very good. The beef my daughter picked and whose name I can no more speak than write was the most tender, beautifully prepared and still sizzling when it arrived. My Katsu chicken was gorgeous and the cocktails divine. We shared a portion of tempura prawns, they were amazing. We were the only ones there, certainly not because it isn’t a great place, it was because it was 4pm. So that was nice. It was as if they were only open for us. We had a good time and we’d definitely go back and work our way down the menu! For what it was, the price was pretty good, especially for central Newcastle. We paid £70. The meal cost £66 with cocktails and service charge, we just decided to round it up as we really did enjoy the meal very much indeed and the staff were polite and helpful. It has a great approval rating from us. Thank you very much and we will be seeing you again. Your beautiful fresh food is awesome. If you want the place to yourself and enjoy the level of intimacy. It was amazing to have the place to ourselves and were able to mark the second anniversary of my mother’s death. It was nice we were able to celebrate her zest for life and her love of good food. She would have enjoyed every bite.
