   We loved this place when it first opened, but now that it is busy the quality has gone down tremendously. When you are a party of two request that you don’t get stuck at one of the very tiny tables. There’s not even enough room for drinks and food. We had to hand them dishes we weren’t even finished with to make enough room for our entrees. It was not a comfortable experience. It’s not nice on the heated patio in the winter. We requested not to be seated there in our reservation, but were stuck on the very crowded patio all the same. My husband’s food came out warm, but mine was cold. The sauce and middle of my enchiladas weren’t warm at all. Lukewarm shrimp doesn’t taste right. I asked our waiter, when I could finally catch his attention, if they could heat it up for me. Our server graciously made it right by bringing a freshly made plate. It tasted much better than the first one. That helped redeem the night. If you are going to charge high prices then the quality of food and dining experience should match.

   The food was amazing. The service communication was awful - orders got mixed up - our server didn’t know how to place the order to get the right meal preparation and the drinks took a long time.

   My 3 Star overall review comes from 1) requesting a different table in a less noisy area of the restaurant (restaurant was mostly empty at the time) and being told it wasn’t possible, and 2) being asked to leave after an hour and a half. In all fairness, this was communicated when reserving through Open Table **IF** you scroll down far enough to see it. We would have loved to have had this communicated (reminder) when seated instead of being asked to leave so quickly. The food is another review. Really love the food! The chile verde for an entree and butter cake for dessert are always consistent and a go-to! Our server last night was darling, provided what we asked for, but nothing more. Sol Agave is great if you’re wanting a quick meal. Not a great place if you’re wanting to enjoy time together and visit with someone.

   Absolutely amazing food! I hate to say it but this place really gives Red Iguana a run for its money! Sol Agave is higher priced but the food is just off the charts!

   Nathalie was a lovely effectient server; food was fresh, delicious & generous portions. I delighted in Sea Bass & my husband loved the carnival. Margis were perfect, not too sweet. Sadky too full for dessert.

   Tasty sophisticated Mexican cuisine in a light open modern room. Great choice in DTSLC and 10 minutes from the airport. Will be back.

   I have been to this restaurant many times and it seems to be losing some of it’s magic. My entree, a Trio of seafood items, was served absolutely cold. The dish appeared to come straight from the refrigerator. I hope that the consistency I had experienced at Sol Agave in the past returns on my next visit.

   The tables seemed very close together and hard for people to get by. That was frustrating. The tables for 2 were also very small so hard to enjoy appetizers and drinks and then the entrees coming… the food though… was amazing! The favors were so good and our server was fantastic and very attentive.
