   I'm not sure if it was post New Year's Eve Lunch but service was extremely slow. Can't blame the attendant because he was only one serving several tables. They should've just closed for lunch if they were Short-Staffed. Took a while to even get anything on the table. 20 mins for a Beer? Checking back on the table had a 15 minute gap, and we were just losing our appetite by every minute. One of the plates came way undercooked but they took care of it in the bill (Still not the point) Kinda beats the purpose of having family out for lunch for a nice meal and have it ruined. I don't think I'll be going back there.

   Asked for a two person booth, sat us at a table between two large parties, w babies crying. I specified my booth request in my reservation and saw how the hostess crew was a bit overwhelmed w seating people. I asked them again for a 2 person booth only to be sat at the crappy table. The hostess held power over me and disregarded our requests. We should have left without ordering but stayed the course, when we left the booths were empty, nobody sat in them. Overpriced food not done well.

   Overall, the food was great. Disappointed that the frozen marg machine was down and that they only offer gluten “friendly” options, so my friend with celiacs was really limited in food choices. If you’re looking for a great gluten free menu, look somewhere else. They apparently only have one fryer. The service was so-so- a few round of drinks were slow and part of our order was incorrect (not a huge deal). We were seated next to the front door at 5pm (tons of open tables at that time). It was pretty chilly and we asked to be reseated and the hostess alleged they couldn’t accommodate moving us to any of the open tables. Again, food was pretty good, but service lacked a bit.

   It's a charming spot. The food was terrific, the service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the ambiance was pleasant. Had their tropical ceviche - AMAZING. Fresh, spicy, sweet, and salty all in one. The beet and sweet potato chips served with the ceviche were brilliant. The rest of my family tried the short ribs, enchiladas, tacos, and caramel ganache dessert - all loved it. Some reviews mentioned slow service - we went on a Monday night, and the service was excellent. I had zero issues - the staff was delightful. I highly recommend it for an affordable, lovely evening out!

   The food was really good and our server was friendly. Everything did take longer than usual especially our drinks from the bar. We’ll definitely be back but maybe not at 7:00 on the Friday night after Christmas. Ha-Ha

   Sorta disappointing TBH. They were out of beans and steak …😂🙄 I felt like the waiter was rushing everyone to finish so he could leave. Food was average at best. Way too loud as well. Won’t be back. Not worth the price.

   Family of seven, Christmas inner. There isn't anything notable about SOL Mexican Cocina. The most notable is that they ran out of beans!! How can a Mexican restaurant run out of beans? This is not a bad review, but it is a "C" and there are better places.

    Always great food and great service here! I enjoyed the chicken taco soup along with a shrimp burrito. That was very tasty.
