   Ricky the server is a perennial favorite. Attentive but not overbearing. The Vampire taco continues to require a fire extinguisher! 🔥

   Brought my management team for a nice dinner to celebrate 2024 successes. Our server Jenna O. was very friendly and knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor as we joked with her. She made excellent drink and food suggestions. The food was excellent and desserts quite sizeable.

   I was so disappointed, and will not be returning here for dinner. First, I had a reservation for 8 pm. I asked to be seated at a quiet table. We got there, and probably weren't seated until about 8:15 because "there were large parties ahead of us." Then, they sat us right under a speaker. Loud, garish music was blasting over my head. I couldn't hear a word my husband said, so I asked to be moved. They wouldn't move me despite there being empty tables around us. I took photos. Shortly after we sat down, there were three empty tables along the wall that we could have been easily moved to, if they cared. Then, as the night went on, only one table was ever seated with people. In short, we could have easily been moved, but they refused to accommodate my request despite having the room and ability to do so. The food here is good. The service wasn't great, and the customer service was poor. I will return for lunch when I can likely be treated as a valuable customer. But I won't be coming back for dinner. This restaurant simply thinks it is too "special" to accommodate basic requests of its regular customers.

   There should be a note when booking the patio vs. an overflow situation where it involves a concrete slab not attached to the restaurant. It was more patio adjacent. It was decent chain Mexican food, but you could tell it was poorly run. “Large taco” was a 4” tortilla, can’t imagine what the street tacos consisted of. Several others with those tables refused to sit there and were turned away while the restaurant for the hour plus we sat there was barely at 60% full. Too many Mexican options in Scottsdale to bother with this one. It’s a chain in a shopping center, didn’t expect gold, but this one was a waste of time and money.

   As this establishment is one of our favorites , this is the first time in three years that we were very disappointed. Reservations were made well in advance , assuming the 4 of us would be seated at a comfortable table . We always bring friends who have never been . Reservations were made well in advance Unfortunately the service was adequate at best . The food was mediocre, the service was mediocre, the drinks from the bar were good , but took way too long to touch down . They stuck a party 4 in a very narrow corner which made it very difficult to get in and out of our seats . We made the most of our best as we always do ! Our friends were really looking forward to the churro dessert with vanilla ice cream , to our dismay it came out burnt, rock hard and ice cream melted . Obviously it sat in the back way too long . We always use the strike 3 rule, we will be back in hopes of a home run ! Sincerely, Analynn

   Overall still a very good restaurant. They removed one of my favorite tacos the garlic ribeye and the server mentioned everyone is disappointed it’s gone. Food lacked the fine quality it used to have and not the extra special it used to be. You can tell it’s about getting people in and out and the details or lack there of are showing. Mass produced food.

   Always a wonderful experience! Taco Tuesday is always busy with an energetic vibe. The live music is a nice addition. The margaritas are top notch and the El Jefe taco is outstanding!

    Food was good. The server seemed annoyed to be there. They need to improve their customer service there but overall, I will give it another try.
