   Had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. My husband got the oysters and they were delicious and clean. My husband got the black in pasta with the lobster sauce. Oh my God it was so delicious. I got the pasta with the lobster on it. I forgot the name of it, but it was delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

   Sola Osteria is a fantastic addition to the Ridgewood restaurant scene. Everything about the meal was top notch. The pasta was fresh and the food was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend it. I will definitely be going back.

   My husband and I dined at this authentic gourmet Italian restaurant on a Thursday night. The food was delicious and the service was superb! I highly recommend this beautiful, quaint ,elegant BYOB Italian Osteria for an elegant pleasant dining experience. . I already made reservation for a Saturday night to celebrate Christmas with our best friends 🍷 Massimo , owner and chef is very amicable and knowledgeable so as Mauricio, and Fabrizio.

   This is the third time I have been to this restaurant and I have brought a new friend each time. I keep coming back to try a new dish each time. The chef did a wonderful job redecorating the space. The soups have been delicious highly recommended. Yesterday I tried the eggplant - it was perfect. Last time the meatballs and gnocchi - highly recommended. Give this restaurant a try.

   Modern and warm ambiance. We weren’t seated right away for our reservation which is fine but they have no bar or waiting area. Chef came out with a couple of oysters and apolgized. Very nice and a nice touch. Not a big deal. Oysters were not a traditional American presentation, which I prefer, but they were very fresh and and in an interesting way with a beet liquid topping. Bread was served cold but fresh with excellent EVOO. My dates Bronzino was fresh but lacking any depth of flavor. My pasta dish with shrimp was ok at best. While the pasta was perfectly done, the shrimp was slightly overcooked and overall the dish was very salty. I would try one more time but it didn’t live up to the hype.

   Food was excellent again (second time we have been there). It was super loud last night as one party was “feeling it”. Service was not as good as the initial visit. Seemed like these had less waiters, but plenty of support staff. Overall food is the draw.

   YOU MUST TRY SOLA OSTERIA! This lovely place serve authentic Italian food! As Italians, me and my husband miss the flavours of our home, so we decided to come and have a meal at Sola’s. We went for lunch and had a great time, the owner, Chef Massimo Sola came out to know us and to make sure we were having a good time (btw we had a blast:). We ate a couple of antipasti and two pasta mains to share, let me tell you, I felt at home and oh boy, I’ve missed that feeling! You really can taste the passion and the love they put into their food. It’s a culinary experience, and I promise you, you won’t be disappointed:)

    Exceptional food and hospitality - the most authentic Italian in North Jersey. Incredibly kind, welcoming, and warm team who made our Thanksgiving meal so memorable!! Please go see Chef Massimo and his wonderful team!
