The food was mainly good and large size portions. I wish the server told us we were ordering too much good. Also, I believe the scallops in the Coquille St Jacques could have been fresher. I’m a bit of a scallop snob and just not the best.

At arrival i was advised that only high chair table is available. I did not book it. I do use these and have issue with weight and back. The restaurant host did not pay any attention to it and was not willing to sort the problem. She just told me one table is available and it is a standard table. She also advised that next time i made a booking i need to put a note. Where exactly i need to put this note? Obvisouly she has no clue and argued with me instead of trying to sort it out. There were plenty of other low tables. Food service was super slow and poor. We waited for main courts almost an hour. Also we advised that we need to leave the table after 3 hours whilst waiting time for main course was 1 hour. No apology or anything, the host made it look it is out fault. It is my second time there, food is good but service was very disappointed. Obviously restaurant did not invest in training of staff at all. Very poor customer service,

Food was amazing. Best mussells I have ever had, perfectly cooked. Staff helpful and kind. Everything was delicious, inlcuing sending us two oysters to try, the ones that I had not tried yet or ever, and they were amazing.

SOLE is an upscale restaurant on the edge of Temple Bar area in Dublin. The fish and seafood was very good. However, we ordered regualr water and they brought it out in a bottle, whihc was fine. We then orderd some more. We were surpised to se a charge of $13.80 on the bill. We contested it, and it was removed. But, we should have been told. Also, our waitress was saddled with six tables and three sat down when we were ready foir our check, whihc delayed leaving. Not her fault, but the manager should have handled the seating better. It was the Sunday before the Bank Day natonal holiday. So, it was packed. All in all, a good restaurant thagt could be great with a few tweaks
