   The food and service is outstanding. But what impressed me the most was their amaro selection from all over Italy and also Europe and the U.S. the staff are also very well informed on the wine and spirits list which is very helpful when you are making a selection from such an extensive list. Definitely worth revisiting.

   Honestly the food was not good. Not much flavor in any of the dishes. We ordered a crudo appetizer that was actually a tuna tartare - definitely needed salt. Two pastas, both bland and the beef in one of them was chopped in cubes and was not totally unappealing. Lastly we got the salmon, literally had no flavor or sauce to it. We asked for a mineral glass of white wine and they gave us basically a chardonnay. Wanted this to be good, but sadly would not recommend!

   Food was delicious but the portion sizes were a little small for the price. My husband order the ravioli: delicious but was six pieces

   A dinner date for two, and Sorella was perfect for it. The food is both beautiful and very tasty. Service was excellent - terrific recommendations and very welcoming. We’d happily go back and try more of their dishes.

   A gem of a spot in a rather strange stretch of Polk Street. Always festive with patrons regardless of the day.

   One of the best dinners in SF in a long time. My wife’s pork fish was perfection and I don’t even like pork. The cocktails are always the best. One of our favorite restaurants in The City!

   Celebrated an anniversary here and the food was amazing. We enjoyed the chicory salad, shrimp-stuffed calamari, ricotta strangulet, pork chop, hanger steak and topped off with a bourbon caramel semifreddo dessert and espresso. Service was excellent. Nothing like freshly made pasta. With every dish served, I did my happy dance, which is saying a lot.

    We have been to Sorella quite a few times. That is unusual for us, who like to try many different places. But Sorella is hard to beat. The menu varies so it feels new each time. Yet it feels nicely familiar each time, also. It’s always good. We will be back.
