   You’ll never go wrong at Sorellina from the second you walk in the dirt from the food, cocktails and wine, right down to a pot of pipping hot tea with dessert .

   First time there. Outstanding, from valet team to welcoming team to server, Kirk. Great menu. I had the fettucine mushroom appetizer followed by Saltimbocca. Food was terrific. Cannot wait to go back.

   What a wonderful place! Pasta is exceptional. The wine list is impressive. The service is great. And there are white tablecloths on the tables. An added bonus is the fact that one can actually hold a dinner conversation at a normal decibel level.

   Our experience was wonderful! Our server, Kirt, was professional and intimate at the same time. My partner had the roasted exotic mushrooms as a starter and the venison pasta as a main. I had the Romaine salad and the veal Saltimbocca. We shared the ginger donuts for dessert. All were fabulous. The noise level, when we arrived, was high. Once the diners began to eat, we could talk to each other. Many reviews commented on the small size of the portions. We did not find that so. All courses could easily be shared. We don’t leave the Cape often, but I look forward to our return to Sorrellino.

   I don’t know that we have the words to describe the food here. Every bite, from the honey nut squash soup to the olive oil cake, was pure bliss. Out server was so very warm and generous with her time, helping us navigate the menu and sharing tips about the city, which we had never visited before. My only regret is that we should have come with a better appetite or a few friends so we had an excuse to order several more items. We dine out a lot, some very fancy and of course many that are great, but not fancy. Sorellina ranks among the best restaurants we’ve visited in cities from Paris to Seattle, Miami to Montreal.
