   I would really love to leave a a good review but I really can’t. I took my granddaughter here for our annual granddaughter Christmas dinner. I’m 63. She’s 14 lol. We just had a standard off the menu meal. I had the Sambuca shrimp and the daily pasta was gnocchi. Pretty standard for a higher end pasta place. we have been many times as this is her treat. My entire meal was so salty I could not even eat.Gnocchi. Was very nice and polite about it offered other options but like then I was already halfway through the other portions of my meal. What really bothered me about this evening was that Ghocchi is a fairy very simple dish. It should be tasted in the kitchen by the chef to make sure that it is an acceptable – to their standards after all it was daily, so that meant that everybody was going to be having some. I actually sent that to the manager who is very nice chap. No need to bring anything else. I just wanted them to know for others. I’ve been home a couple hours and I’ve been drinking about a gallon of water because I’m thinking that the Sambuca shrimp also had a ton of it in there. SIGH

   Our group of three couples met to celebrate Christmas…. Sidi served us in a friendly, efficient manner…. We had carne pizza, cod bites, chicken Caesar salad, steak sandwich and Calamari…. Food was delicious…. service was exceptional…. Try Sorrentino’s, St Alber, it’s amazing…

   First time eating at this establishment, everything was great. The service was exceptional along with the food. We both enjoyed the Penne Mediterranean along with a Cesare salad. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

   Food for the most part was good. Mistakes with the order were frustrating. One appetizer arrived more than 7 minutes after the rest of the table. The mistake with one of the dishes was bad. Ordered with simply olive oil and garlic in place of rose came out with Rose which my wife does not like at all. She try to eat some but instead just left it and at the over cooked lobster tail that was the special that Nighy. The other food was fine but it will be hard to get my wife to go back as two mistake for one person is not good when we dropped almost 600 for dinner for 4

   We dine at Sorrentino’s St. Albert three times every year. Have for about 10 years or so. We order the same thing every time: Penne Arrabbiata and Spaghetti Carbonara. Always exquisitely delicious. Had the penne dish at many Italian restaurants in Alberta and nobody comes close to Sorrentino’s. But last night, I had the Beef Lasagna. Not good. Dry, overcooked, too dense, devoid of spice and salt. Don’t know what happened. Seemed like a different chef…or just a bad day. Disappointing. But we’ll be back. We believe our experience last night was a one-off.

   We went to Sorrrentino’s St Albert for our usual Friday Happy Hour…. We were served by Cidi in a friendly, efficient manner.. the food penne aribiatti and burger were delicious…. Aman came and checked on us…. They Sorrentino’s, St Albert you won’t be disappointed.

   Sorrentinos St. Albert Great food as always. Lovely server. I did not catch his name but he is from Morocco and tried to speak Spanish to our guests that we brought to the restaurant. Just so sweet. I had the chicken scallopinne. It was great. I had the pasta of the day vs potato and veggies which I would normally order. The pasta was kind of cold not at the same temperature and or quality as the chicken. Wine prices were bigger than I remember. But we just returned from Spain and Portugal where the price of wine is 1/3 to 1/4 of what we pay here. lol. Overall Sorrentinos is one of my fave restaurants. Thank you

   Met a girlfriend for our monthly dinner. Cidi served us and did so in a friendly, efficient manner…. Kept our glasses full and was checking on us as we lingered visiting…. Great experience…
