A new concept created by Chef Royce. It's soul food restaurant offering an elevated experience. We are located in the historic Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Join us for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday, and brunch on Sunday. If you don't see the seat you want available online, please give us a call. We will be happy to make you a reservation.

My date felt like the place is very expensive but for the food quality I think I got my money’s worth so if u ain’t prepared to pay at least $90 for two people don’t go

The food was just okay! We did not like the fact that the majority of all of their entree’s came with grits! Everyone doesn’t like grits! And when we asked if we could substitute the grits for a different side dish they said they couldn’t, so we wind up having to pay extra for a different side dish which was crazy insane. Also they do not have salmon as an entree item, which is a really popular food option, so my friend had to settle for just Mac and cheese. There are not many items to choose from on the menu, and you wind up paying more just to get the side dish that you want with your meal. This needs to be fixed l!

I can't wait to go back!!! I went on Taco Tuesday and I will be there every Tuesday the one thing I loved is that the meat was marinated!!🤪 Any foodie knows marination is key!

I went for Sunday brunch. The ambiance was very nice with good music for a chill Sunday vibe. However, the food left something to be desired. The fried tomatoes were crispy and well seasoned, but I wasn’t given the crab meat included in it. Everyone else that ordered it at other places at the bar did. When I did bring it up, the bartender quickly said we don’t do that on the weekends. That wasn’t stated on the menu. She came back and apologized. It was refunded, but I missed the experience I wanted. Also, the fish and grits are 6/10, the cream for the grits is good but the fish is very thin. For 30 something dollars I think there should be a better quality of fish.

Presentation was good for the food. Drinks were okay. Portions for baked chicken with grits should have been more especially the grits. It didn’t feel complete. Fish was nice and crispy and large portions. Tacos were SUPER salty. Hot sauce on the side was a good touch of flavor. My hostess was SOOOOOOOO NICE! Very cheerful. Id go back.
