   Always hesitate to leave a positive review because it only means a favorite eating place will get even more jammed. That said, we like coming to the Public House. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is plentiful and generally quite delicious. Julia our server was especially friendly, but without intruding. After taking our orders, she checked back several times to see if everything was ok and/or if we needed anything more. (On other occasions, Marsha has been great, but she does not work on Saturdays). The food was good. New England Clam Chowder. French Onion Soup & Chopped Wedge Salads were delicious. Wings were good; Chicken Picatta less so because the lemon sauce with capers tasted definitely like an add on instead of being infused into the chicken. All in all, however, it was another good evening... and a good dinner. We'll be back!

   Really a very nice restaurant. Casual and friendly with an easy menu to order from. Most dishes were excellent. Fish Tacos were great, fresh! Woukd have given more stars but the salads were over dressed and the portions were wimpy for the price. Nice espresso martini 🍸

   We always enjoy our time at the Publick House. We start with the Happy Hour (4-7) at the bar, then sit in the dining room for dinner. The Tuesday night 2-4-1 entrees are an amazing deal, and delicious. Always great, friendly service. Highly recommend!

   In the past when we went to the Publick House, the service and food was good. The last time we went, the service was slow, waitress forgot one of the orders and the food wasn't good.

   Disappointed that the menu on the restaurants website was not the same as the menu in the restaurant. They should keep the website current.

   Our most recent visit showed again how nice this restaurant can be. Although Danielle could not take care of us, Marsha proved to be a worthy replacement. Her warmly efficient manner was a delight. And as usual, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs so plenty of leftovers for a future dinner. Definitely recommend the Public House - preferably when there is no big sporting event on and the noise levels will doubtlessly be majorly higher.
