   After finding out of this restaurants existence, the day before my wife and I decided to have a meal and to our surprise. It was a wonderful restaurant. The black and white ambiance seemed to work perfectly. The serving staff was more than accommodating. The food was as advertised and was just plain delicious. We do plan on attending in the near future to continue to sample the southern style of cuisine. Did I mention how good the food taste? how pleasing to the eye It was. And at the proper serving temperature.

   Highly disappointed in this place. Highly over priced! 28 dollars for two small pieces of chicken, stringy yams, salty black eye peas. You will not get a piece of cornbread with your southern meal. Five dollars for a basket of dry gummy cornbread. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!.

   Had 7:30 reservations, we were greeted and seated on time, food came out hot fast and delicious. Drinks did take a little longer but were worth the wait! Loved everything and we will be back!

   My wife and I just recently ate here twice in two weeks just to try something different the next go around because it’s that good. We have a planned bi-weekly lunch date every other Friday due to our schedule and we try to find places we’ve never been or haven’t been in awhile to eat at but never do we go to the same place back to back dates. We use to eat at Southern Kitchen when it was in the Jackson Ward area of Richmond for birthdays and other gatherings but now that it’s in Stoney Point it seems like everything is so much better (location, food, service, ambiance…). Not to mention it’s now closer to us as we live in Chesterfield. Compliments to the chef and entire staff.

   The services was Outstanding, the place was very clean. Great location. Job well done. Keep up the WORK!!!. everyone had a good attitude. Our waitress was very professional in her JOB.

    I visited Southern Kitchen for my birthday and ordered the 2 piece fish dinner. The food was awesome, fresh and good portion size. I ordered the collard greens and mac and cheese as my side dishes. Everything was delicious! Our server was excellent as well and provided great customer service.
