Enjoyable experience at Sparrow. Our server, Brittny, was awesome! We prefer to do a bunch of apps and drinks as opposed to the entrees. It’s a good way to try a bunch of different food and not have as big a bill at the end of the meal! Everything we had was delicious - baked burrata (special), Tuscan kale salad, hot honey pizette and crispy brussels. We shared the Cookie Monster with pistachio gelato for dessert. Will definitely be back!

Second time I've been there, for some reason the food seems to sit before being served. The pasta absorbed or didn't have enough sauce and the asparagus were tough and inedible in the dish. The seafood was overcooked, both times I've ordered it. The service was fine, but they didn't have enough people working, she had a party to deal with and wasn't able to keep up well.

Lorenzo was our server and he was excellent! Felt like NYC vibes in Garden City. I highly recommend the kale salad and the pizzas.
