    The lesson on tasting was very interesting and fun! The tour was informative and the facilities simply beautiful. Would have loved to see more. Definitely returning.

    Cute tour. No food was involved. Learned about the history of the school and about the essentials of your senses. Would totally recommend the tour and the experience as you support the students.

    This is a very interesting and worthwhile tour of The IIA. Our the lecture hall portion is comprised of two videos \. One is an overview of culinary history in the US and the history and role CIA plays in that history up to current day. The other is an interactive video detailing tastes and flavors. The walking portion is brief but informative however our student tour guides voice was completely overpowered by a male fellow student tour guides booming voice.

    An excellent way to spend an hour or so learning about the history of CIA and a brief class on food tasting. The cost funds students scholarships. Highly recommend

    The tour was disappointing - it is basically a video you watch w a tray to taste. No real interaction with school, kitchens, or anything. No real tour.

    I expected the tasting to be an in person affair. I work in college admissions and may be more tuned into these issues than most, but it was odd to essentially watch three videos (which were played very loudly) rather than have a guide. The tasting info itself was very interesting and the small tour we received was nice, but be advised you don’t see the full campus. “A taste” is more like it. Very sweet students and excited to go back! If you’re interested in the restaurants, be sure to book those in advance.

    They sat us down to watch a video with a chef talking to us which felt more like an activity you would do at home during Covid then what is supposed to be an interactive experience at a world renowned institute. And the “tasting” seems like you’d be trying things made there but it’s grapes with different things on it. Not a terrible experience but not worth paying for in my opinion. Book the restaurants and walk around yourself.
