   I had high expectations for my New Year’s Eve dinner at Spinasse, given its reputation and the special tasting menu offered for the evening. The food was undeniably delicious—each dish was thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented, showcasing the finesse of authentic Northern Italian cuisine. However, despite the culinary excellence, I couldn’t help but feel that the $146 per person tasting menu fell short of its value. While the flavors were memorable, the portion sizes and overall experience didn’t quite justify the price tag. For that cost, I was expecting a more elevated or unique experience to match the occasion—perhaps additional courses, more extravagant ingredients, or an enhanced ambiance tailored to New Year’s Eve festivities. In summary, Spinasse delivered on taste and quality, but the tasting menu didn’t provide the “wow” factor I hoped for at such a premium price point. A wonderful meal, but I’d hesitate to return for another special event at this cost.

   We spent a wonderful New Years Eve at spinasse. The choices for our menu were diverse and delicious! We had the wine pairing, with each carefully chosen. The service team explained each dish and wine as they delivered each course. Thanks for an incredible experience!

   When we arrived there were 2 people in our party still waiting to arrive, the host told us we couldn’t be seated, so go to the bar. We sat down at the bar and then she came over and told us the seats at the bar were reserved and we needed to stand, but there was no where to stand but by the bathrooms. Not a very warm birthday welcome. Then we were sat by the window near the host stand, it was cold and not comfortable. Our server was professional and gracious.. But we are tired of 20 something hosts in Seattle that don’t seem to comprehend what gracious and professional service is.

   Really enjoyed the food and ambience at Spinasse. There were good options on the menu for a vegetarian family. Our waiter, Heather was awesome and very knowledgeable about vegetarian choices and helped make the right choices. A little bit disappointed that 2 desserts on the menu contain pork gelatin, but there were 3 other desserts to choose from. Again, Heather was awesome in steering us in the right direction. Overall a great experience for a special family dinner!

   Never been to Spinasse but have been wanting to try for a while. Made a reservation for a few days before Christmas for my husband and I. We did the Degustazi and WOW! I cannot suggest that enough if you haven’t been to Spinasse. It is a true sampling (a generous one at that!) of what Spinasse is all about. The two of us kept talking about how we couldn’t pick what was our favorite thing because everything was incredible and so different. My husband also got the wine pairing with dinner, which he was very impressed by. While we were satisfied with everything we ate, the items I would go back for were the Cippolini onion appetizer, crab risotto, the duck, and the sleeper hit, the goat gnocchi. Phenomenal! Now that I know the menu and the restaurant style better I can’t wait to come back and order some favorites and to see some new seasonal menu items along the way. Highly recommend.

   Incredible meal, excellent service, beautiful ambiance. We especially loved how leisurely our meal was - no one rushed us along and we were always asked if we were finished with one dish the next was brought out. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable- he provided excellent recommendations as well as information about the Piedmont region and cuisine. 10/10 would recommend.

    We were able to snag a reservation for Spinasse about one month before our visit-even then, the times available were 5 or 9 PM. We opted for 5 PM, and were seated promptly when they opened. My husband and I ordered the Tajarin Al Ragu and it did not disappoint! Loved watched the fresh pasta in the making, and our server was fantastic. Not local to SEA, but would visit again.
