Really glad to be able to check out this new restaurant. Group of six had a bunch of apps and entrées, and there was not one bad dish in the bunch. Everything was delicious! Porchetta and rabbit papardelle were two stand outs but really everything was lovely! Very nice atmosphere and roomy seating (bar, high tops, dining room), there is space for them to put more tables, but I appreciate them, not trying to jam in more.

Great evening at Standard Italian. The lasagna bolognese & papparadelle w rabbit are phenomenal. The service is outstanding. Sat at the bar and our wonderful bartender continuously refreshed our martini glasses to give us a new cold one. Batch cocktails were delicious; well priced Italian wine list. Highly recommend.

Quedamos impresionados con la calidad de la comida. De autor. Tenemos un paladar muy exigente y esta cena fue sin dudas nuestra mejor experiencia gastronómica en Boston. Las porciones son muy generosas y la relación precio-calidad es imbatible. El servicio al cliente muy cálido y orientado desde nuestra llegada. Este lugar tiene un crecimiento seguro.

It’s worth coming here just to experience one of Jackson Cannon’s very labor intensive signature drinks, such as the olive oil washed Standard Oil martini. After tasting one of these savory and silky flavor bombs, I’m hooked. Pairs perfectly with the mortadella skewer or bay scallop appetizer. Also Enjoyed the crunchy porchetta platter, will have to try the pastas next time. Place is a bit tricky to find the first time there, but from Eastern Standard look for the sign and follow the trail of little lights.
