A welcoming contemporary restaurant with a touch of rustic charm, State Street Provisions is today’s answer to the taverns that once offered respite to the fishermen and tradesmen who worked in Boston’s bustling Long Wharf. Historically inspired but forward thinking food and drink menus feature fresh ingredients from near and far, while the comfortable space meets the needs and passing fancies of residents, workers and visitors alike. State Street Provisions is located at the intersection of State Street and Atlantic Avenue on Long Wharf, one of Boston’s most storied landmarks. Breaking ground in 1710, the Wharf was a vibrant hub for the Colonial U.S. shipping industry and originally extended nearly half a mile from the shoreline at Faneuil Hall.

    Nice restaurant. Service and food really good. Only downside is the loud music and overall noise level. I’ve been here several times in the past and it has been very consistent. I recommend this place.

    We had an awesome brunch; special occasion with friends, wonderful food and atmosphere. Our server Ora was fabulous … charming and very attentive … especially to our 91 year old friend!!! And he is tough to please!!! 😊

    I really loved the butternut squash. It was really unique and delicious. The Caesar salad was also very good. Our main courses were not good. The fish in the fish and chips was mushy and my salmon dish was overcooked. The service was very good and I really appreciated the complimentary dessert for my birthday.

    We went for brunch on a rainy Saturday of a long weekend. Despite the crowd the service was fast and precise. The food was good . We especially enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich and the avocado toast .
