We sat at the window and had a perfect view of the river. Our waiter, Landon, was attentive and knew the menu well. The crab and corn soup was delicious with a good amount of crab. The NC grilled trout was cooked perfectly and came with seasoned rice and succotash (2 kinds of beans & corn). There was enough food for a 2nd meal at home. My husband ordered the braised short ribs and said it was delicious. We shared the triple chocolate mousse and loved it. Light and chocolatey (of course). For once it was nice to eat in a quiet restaurant where you could actually speak in a normal voice.

Stem is a hidden gem that some may not be aware of because it’s located in the Embassy Suites. The views are amazing, the staff is attentive and food is delicious! Head upstairs to Cloud 9 the rooftop bar afterwards. It’s a perfect evening!

Our server Derek made the evening! Very engaging and energetic along with knowledgeable and attentive. The food was great, I highly recommend the oyster appetizer, burger and the chocolate mousse! Drinks were a little pricey but delish and they offered fun varieties.

We started with a drink at the bar and after some great conversation with our bartender/server Joey, we decided to stay and eat at the bar rather than move to a table. The service was amazing, Joey was attentive in helping us with menu questions and even answered questions we had about a future event in the private space. Drinks and food were amazing, as always. Absolutely would come back for dinner and looking forward to hopefully hosting an event their later this year.

I made the reservation for my wife & daughter to enjoy the Mother's Day Brunch. The had a Wonderful time. The enjoyed the entire experience, food, service, and atmosphere.
