Our kitchen strives to fuse some of the bold flavors of southern cuisine with the styles and ingredients of the northwest. Brisket, ribs and more are smoked on site daily to ensure an authentic barbecue experience.

Familiar favorites like our Smokehouse Nachos and Brisket Tacos round out a menu that has a little of something for everyone.

Important note.
Online reservations are limited to a minimum party size of 8 and a maximum party size of 14. For all other party size accommodations please call the restaurant. (253) 627-1229 Walk-in's are welcome and will be accommodated based on availability.

All members of your party must be present to be seated. If the full party is not present, seating may be adjusted to a smaller table if available. If no suitable table is available, the reservation may not be honored. Guests must arrive within 10 minutes of the reservation time, or the table may be forfeited.

We made reservations for an hour and fifteen minutes before the dance lesson. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived and we ordered drinks right away along with an appetizer. Those took 20 mins or to get. Then we placed our dinner order which was two burgers and a chicken sandwich. That took over an hour to get and when we got it it was cold. So cold that the bacon on the chicken burger had congealed fat on it. Our server seemed to be the only one in the place and we felt bad for her so we decided not to complain. Not only was the food gross but it came after the dance lesson started so we were unable to participate which was the whole reason for coming. Overall, this place was disappointing. Poor service (not our servers fault!), cold food that wasn't good, and it was overcrowded. Yes, I realize it was a dance club but we should be able to eat without people standing in front of our booth. Won't be back.

Wait staff was very friendly and prompt. Food came out promptly had the whiskey cream sauce poutine highly recommend the daily special was half a rack of ribs. Dry rub. Ribs were very tasty slightly dry but very much edible and delicious. Coleslaw was a pleasant surprise, having the pineapple in it beans were on point. I personally was not a fan of the dessert. I had the cream puff pecan ice cream dessert it was prepared. Well, it looked good. It was personal preference not liking it. It was taken off of my bill not at my request. I would return and highly recommend anybody looking for a good place to Have an enjoyable meal with good service to try steel Creek.

Waiter kept forgetting things we ordered. If you can’t line dance, don’t come here to dance. They say after a certain time you can free style dance but the dance floor but that’s not really the case

The venue was great with line dance classes which was very entertaining. The brisket and ribs were very good however the pulled pork was dry. Service was very good also.

We enjoyed our time at Steel Creek. Music a bit too loud at 5:30. Maybe save it for after dinner. Meal was great except for the beans which were not to our liking. Personal preferences aside, the barbecue was very tender and delicious and the sauces didn't over power. Well done. The service was friendly and personable. Again, well done.

Great service tonight! We had a big group and even a toddler with us and they had our table ready with a high chair and coloring for him! We had a great time celebrating two different birthdays! The food was great and we would def come back!
