Welcome to Europe's, and possibly the world's, most innovative wine bar! Utilising all new technology, select from over 700 wines by the glass - perfectly preserved and tempered - from any of the world's greatest regions, producers, and vintages - many from large format bottles - paired to the finest international products available; be it stinky cheeses, aged Japanese Wagyu sausage, Iberico Bellota Ham, Rillette of Pheasant, Hare, or Boar. Begin with a glass of bubbles and a Seafood specialty, from Lobster Cream with Cognac to Cedar-smoked sushi-grade white Sardine filets, olives, etc. Highlights include two signature dishes, Burgundian Oeufs en Meurette or Confit Duck Cassoulet a la Toulouse, Street Food-style Mexican Elotes as a side, and an Italian-Style tomato salad.

    Great spot. Must visit for any wine lover. Food is also on point. Not to mention the rarity of a well curated playlist that is to be enjoyed thru the evening.

    Das Ambiente passt in keiner Weise zu den Preisen. Tisch war leider direkt an der offenen Küche und der Geruch des Weines vermischt sich mit Küchengeruch u. der Spühlmaschine. Bei den Preisen ein NoGo. Der Eigentümer reagierte auf die Kritik uneinsichtig und mit einer Gegenbeschuldigung für nicht gegebenes Trinkgeld!? Sorry, aber mein Verständnis bezl. Trinkgeld ist da ein anderes - es sollte berechtigt sein! War hier leider nicht der Fall. Vor allem nicht bezl. der Reaktion vom Inhaber.

    Dear Helmut, Feedback is always valued, and as a start-up, we are always in search of ways to improve and innovate. In fairness to the situation, some context: Blanket assessment of "value" is diificult, when not a single food item had been ordered. Let's settle for "The wine prices are high," so: 2018 By Farr Chardonnay, Australia - Our price is 98 Euros; this wine was directly imported and unavailable in Germany. winesearcher.com avg. is 80. 2016 Amore e Folia Rosso from Le Ripi; winesearcher.com avg. is 29 Euros to our 64. Two rare bottles, at 54 Euros above RETAIL. If this equals a "complete lack of value," I do apologise. We have an open kitchen at Sticks & Stones, and though we do not fry nor grill, things are cooked or warmed up. We apologize that the aromas were off-putting.

    Hatten heute über open table einen Tisch reserviert, gestern wurde noch einmal eine Reservierungserinnerung rausgeschickt mit der Nachfrage, ob wir wirklich erscheinen. Heute standen wir pünktlich vor dem Restaurant, leider mit der Enttäuschung, dass es geschlossen war. Sehr ärgerlich, wenn man extra 25 Minuten mit der U-Bahn angefahren kam.
