   Food was great.. service was poor. Seated in an area of the restaurant that my chair kept getting hit by the waiters passing by. Forgot my drinks, had to request my still water 3 times. Had to constantly keep asking for items that had been ordered and for small items like the complimentary hot towel before food is served and when asking for it was almost ridiculed for asking about it. Awful service, great food!

   I had a really bad experience today. It was my daughter’s 9th birthday, and the waiter who served us refused to give us extra soy sauce and another small plate. He said, “Oh, you still have some soy sauce left,” but we were a group of six people. Isn’t it reasonable to ask for more if one is finished? Then, when we asked for another plate, he said, “Oh, your kids have bento boxes, so I’m not supposed to give you another one.” Later, we requested some napkins. Another waiter gave them to us, but then the first waiter tried to take them away. Throughout the entire dinner, we remained polite because our child was with us, and we didn’t want to argue. However, this is not the level of service we expect. We have been to various Sticks’n’Sushi locations many times and have never experienced anything like this before! This was a really disappointing experience for all of us, especially on my daughter’s birthday.

   Efficient and friendly front of house. Charming and helpful wait staff. Unfortunately for me (I am possibly the only person in the Western world, who loathes Avo) whilst not stated on the menu - my salad had a lot of Avocado. My friend had to wait quite a while for her food, but the apology was so charming and sincere, that it didn’t matter. Pretty calm and peaceful for a half term Friday too. We’ll be back
