   We all had a fabulous lunch on Saturday. The staff and food were excellent. Our table in the bar was so cosy next to the fire and the children were able to play the board games, which got them off their phones for quite a while! Thanks to all the staff for being so lovely and friendly. The food really was first class and the whole restaurant felt like a Christmas film, perfect!

   Great staff and even though it has changed hands in the last few years (although I think still in the family) it still retains the same charm and remains a favourite place. Amazing Sunday lunch especially the surprise of the Yorkshire puddings filled with slow cooked beef. Sorry for blocking up the car park with a recovery truck but all the staff were really helpful

   There was a small menu but all dishes were well cooked and ingredients were fresh. Staff were all really welcoming and friendly. Surroundings were a little off putting at first and we weren’t sure if we had made a good choice of venue but as soon as the food arrived we realised we had.

   The best mussels ever and we have eaten them all over the world! The sticky toffee pudding was a complete indulgence but who can resist a home made pud? Highly recommend this pub

    The food was excellent. We had lunch with friends and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. The beer was good as well!
