STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo complex, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

    This was our first time eating at the restaurant. My wife and I could not say enough good things about it. Our waitress (Sarah) was amazing. We both were impressed how she made sure we were enjoying our meal. You could tell she truly enjoyed what she does. This was an amazing experience. Great job STIR staff…. Donnie

    The restaurant was very busy and we had to wait for our reserved table, but the food and wait staff were incredible. We will definitely go back for another meal soon.

    STIR is awesome! Maddy was our server and she was informative and helpful! My husband and I shared the crab soup which was excellent! My husband had the shrimp and cheese grits and he loved it! I had the filet mignon and goat cheese ravioli which was delicious!

    We went to Stir for the first time and it was nothing short of wonderful. Our server Nate H. was excellent. He was super knowledgeable about the menu and offered drink suggestions, and was very attentive always checking in to make sure we were all set. We enjoyed our experience at Stir and will definitely be back! We've already recommended it to a couple of people! :)

    This is the third time we have eaten here. The food and service have always been outstanding. The portions are great! We drove from Huntsville just to eat here!

    Excellent service and overall the food was great! The steak Fritos were a little gristle but flavor was excellent! The drinks was spot on!

    we went here for my daughter‘s birthday and it was absolutely fantastic. Our server Nate was very attentive and did a great job to outline that it was my daughter‘s birthday weekend.  from the minute, we walked in the door we knew we were gonna have a great experience.
