   Did not honor reservation despite confirming on the morning of. 8:15 table was not ready by 9pm so we left and went somewhere else. Poor service and disrespectful

   Reservations were pointless. I believed they were understaffed. Our waited William did the best he could but it was a subpar experience overall

   Absolutely terrible experience. We had a reservation but our table was not ready. The host was rude and dismissive. We were seated near the entrance, where there was a big draft and cold every time someone came in. When we asked to be moved to the different table, they made a big deal out of it . Our apps came out pretty quickly from there everything went down hill. Our waiter was MIA and we couldn’t order drinks. When we finally ordered drinks it took forever to get them. Our Steaks and sides came out but we didn’t have plates or utensils so we had to wait to eat. Our $200 Tomahawk steak was over-done and not medium rare like we ordered. Overall just a terrible and overpriced experience. It’s a glorified nightclub pretending to be a steakhouse. There are so many proper steakhouses in NYC stay away from this over hyped, overpriced wannabe.

   Due to having 2 teenagers with us, one for his birthday, could tell immediately that we weren’t taken as serious diners. Had to track down servers , not marked in time with flatware, water not refilled , drinks sitting empty, yet hit with a 20% auto grat from the server who somehow managed to reappear to drop the check without saying a thing. STK has become a place for amateurs

   This is an awful choice for a Steak House in NYC. A table of 6 had a hard time hearing and difficulty talking to each other. We had entrees and sides. No appetizers, no cocktails. We ordered a bottle of wine, the waiter came back and said they were out. That bottle was $155. Next bottle I ordered was $215, also not available. I ordered a $300 bottle, still not there. We ordered, and 4th, waiter came back with a Liter bottle of that wine. Like, sorry, that is it. So I started with a $150 bottle and ended up with a $600 bottle. One person ordered steak with crab, the other, well done, no pink. One steak came without crab, and the filet was medium well. It was overpriced, mediocre for $1600. I would definitely not recommend it.

   For us it was the worst experience! We made a reservation in advance and we were seated at a table near the entrance where there is a line for the elevator and the wind is blowing from the entrance! After that we were seated at another table and we ordered food which we waited for 1.5 hours, nothing special just steaks. When our food was brought, the waiter took our forks and knives and we had to look for the waiter to bring them, it took 15 minutes!!! It's just awful, we came to celebrate an anniversary, paid $400 and the evening was ruined. P.S. there are people in the toilet who beg for tips!!!

   Started out rough. Was seated at the table near the door despite many other tables being open and our reservation being early. It was very cold until the place filled up. Bread came late and cold. The second round of bread was fresh and very good. The octopus app was a bit tough and the oysters, while very good, are ridiculously priced. The steaks were really very good. Some of the best I’ve had in a while (bone in dry aged strips). Service was good but not great. Greeter was not very helpful or welcoming. Price wise it was fair as most of the food was really good. I gave 5 stars as the night really went well in the end but it’s more like 4.

   Good not good. Server nice, but so busy and came around maybe 2-3x the entire meal. We found water ourselves to refill glasses. Meat overcooked, drink orders wrong.

    Our service was awful. Our waiter was awful. They took away food and tried to take plates away as we were eating.  my mother-in-law, had her fork in one hand and the knife sitting on her plate and she was still eating and they removed the knife from her plate and took away one of the sides in the middle of the table. She was eating we literally had to say stop we’re not done. I will never go back the value of service versus the food and the cost is not worth it. Do not go here.
