OUR INSPIRATION
Stoke & Rye by Chef Richard Sandoval is a modern American grill with a menu reflecting both the Colorado landscape and Chef Sandoval’s creative stylings. Dishes are genuine, time-honored, and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving, and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great foods. Grilled steaks, flamed tomahawk, hand-cut steaks and chops, shucked oysters, house-smoked line caught Colorado trout and more comprise the menu highlights.

    Overall we had an excellent experience. The prices were high, but given location it is expected. My one complaint is that we ordered a lovely bottle of wine. The sommelier served us but neither he nor our server ever refilled our glasses. This was unfortunate

    Overall, it was a nice experience, beautiful location, and view from the restaurant. I will say that we found it very odd that we ordered two filet mignon, and it was cut horizontally and served that way, instead of like a traditional fillet being prepared and served in its whole state. By cutting it horizontally, we felt like it was overcooked. We had ordered rare for one steak and medium rare for the other and both were overdone . I may be spoiled, but when I order a filet mignon, I do enjoy the steak being prepared and served the traditional way. Uncut.

    Nice option on the main floor of the Westin. Tomahawk steak pushed heavily. We ordered sides with the steak and specified that we wanted them served with the steak but they were brought out as appetizers instead. The steak and the scallops were well presented and yummy. It was my birthday dinner and we told the waiter as well as mentioned it in the open table notes but nothing special was done. Not even a "happy birthday".

    The hostess was very rude when we arrived. We were a few minutes early and first she told us we had no reservation (we did) and then she told us our table wasn’t ready. The restaurant was empty and every table was perfectly set for dinner. This was at 5:55pm. We asked for a manager and they gladly seated us. Our server was great and food was excellent. Everything was very slow though. It took very long for every course to come out.

    We had a great experience thanks to Lance, our server. He was very attentive and super helpful explaining the menu. The vibe of the restaurant is very cool plus the noise level makes it very easy to have conversations. Highly recommend.

    Lance and the wait staff last night were fantastic. Lance was very kind in assisting us to move to table that was not a cocktail table, unlike the seating staff. Lance and the wait staff came around numerous times to make sure everything was satisfactory and was never short of water! Great job all

    Service was awful. Within a 2 hour window, we ordered a few dishes to share for the table (including a salad). Took forever to come out, asked multiple times and other tables received their food before we got ours. Even though they ordered after us. They comp the dessert but just overall really poor

    I would suggest looking elsewhere for a good dining experience. Our experience did not meet our expectations. Service was slow. It took ~30mins just to get basic single pour drinks. Food arrived cold and/or overdone. When asking to have the bill split across multiple parties we were informed they have no ability to split a bill up.
