The food was delicious. We had 2 courses for £22. We also had two cocktails for £13. The service was friendly and everything was timed just right. Lovely setting.

Restaurant inside the Raddison hotel. The restaurant offers more than it delivers. The food was OK but not wonderful. The lemon meringue was a bit bitter and uneven in consistency. Asked for some mayo for the chips and was told they didn’t have any. The ketchup was vinegary and runny. All a bit lack lustre. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff incredibly rude, too busy talking to actually serve anyone in any reasonable timeframe + one of the waitresses literally stomped her feet at us lol. Would not recommend. Food was ok but not worth the wait nor the rude attitudes.

Just had Sunday Lunch at the Stoke restaurant in Radisson Red at Lime Street station. Some family had been last Sunday and gave it great reviews. We ordered two gammon roasts. I’ve never known a restaurant add a further supplement for chicken (about £2 extra). The food came relatively quickly however no-one came to ask during the meal if everything was OK. I wasn’t impressed with the meal. All of the veg was hard. We could have done with extra gravy inside the huge Yorkshire pudding as it had no gravy on it so the meal was quite dry. Also the plates were so small that the Yorkshire pudding covered most of the food. We finished our meal and were waiting to order desserts. But after 10 minutes our plates were still sitting on the table. Two female staff members in white blouses were standing around literally doing nothing. I couldn’t understand why they weren’t clearing the table or taking our dessert order. There was another girl in a brown Stoke T-shirt doing all the work. Eventually I had to call over the girl in the brown T-shirt to order desserts. We ordered two cheesecakes. They had been recommended by family the week before. A family had the same cheesecakes on the table next to us. They looked amazing. When our cheesecakes came they were in a bowl, more like a yoghurt with berries and crumbled biscuit at the side. I said to one of the white blouse girls that we had ordered the cheesecake. She tried to say that was what we got. My daughter showed her a photograph of the dessert she got the week before which was the same as the family on the next table had got. She tried to say they were on the Al a crate menu. We said we’d had it last week on the Sunday lunch menu. Why was she lying. She went and spoke to someone and returned to said the other family had the last slices. I can accept that there was none left but why did she have to lie. They should have just said they had no more cheesecake left.

Lovely building, amazing food. Did notice staff off the floor a lot to be point where the chef had to leave the kitchen to get staff to run food to tables. We was changed for puddings when it should have been in with the 3 course so had to have that refunded as they staff didn’t check the bill before bringing it to the table. Overall lovely place food was honestly amazing But staff could be more present when they chef needs them.

After seeing these guys all over social media we were excited to try their Sunday roast. It seems odd however to have a set menu price but 60% of the options had a supplement cost (beef and chicken, which are expected to be part of the cost!) The service unfortunately let us down the most. Our drinks orders were taken and took 25 minutes to arrive, we could see our drinks sitting on the bar waiting to be brought to us, and could see members of staff standing and chatting nearby. It took the barman to come and deliver to us eventually. They forgot our water altogether. When our food arrived, none of the additional sides came with it. It took us 5 minutes to get anyones attention on this, and no apology for us waiting. The food was overall of a decent standard, the chicken was lovely, the yorkshires were great and overall everything was cooked well, aside from the beef which was so raw in places that it was inedible. In fairness to the staff, they offered us free drinks on the house for this. Our desserts, lemon meringue tart and filled choux, arrived very quickly, and sadly, we were very disappointed in these. The meringue was sloppy and uncooked, the pastry completely soggy and barely a taste of lemon. The dessert was very disappointing. For over £90 for 2 courses, a glass of wine and a soft drink, we did expect better, and we certainly expected the service to be much better, too. There were so many tables nearby that were left uncleared for a long period of time, the bar was covered in collected dirty glasses, and yet the restaurant wasn't very busy at all. The couple who were sat next to us were clearly having issues too and we heard that they were also given free drinks as they were forgotten. There is a lot of potential with this place but unfortunately it just doesn't hit the mark. I hope they are early days teething issues but sadly not somewhere we will return and not somewhere I would recommend.
